So happy you were able to have your family there to get you settled- that's a long trip from Detroit! I'm like sobbing watching this because it's almost time for me to do this with my baby girl and we are considering LSU. Do you happen to know if there are specific dorms for student athletes there on campus, or are they mixed in with the general student body? Thanks, and good luck!
Hey! Thanks for watching the video!! For student athletes as far as I know there aren’t any specific dorms for student athletes. They usually stay on the west side of campus near the PMAC, Tiger Stadium and the Track. If the athlete is a sophomore and up they would stay at Nicholson Gateway Apartments. And Thank you! 😊
seeing you come from Michigan to lsu gives me a lot of hope because I am only a freshman in hs but I want to go to LSU and I would be coming from Cleveland, Ohio
I love it! The safety here is good, they have the LSU Police on campus all night and students are able to get rides from them or use the LSU shuttles. The dorms I recommend are Acadian, Evangeline, Blake, North, West and South Hall. And thank you!! ☺️
@@massivetrieganHey im a graduating senior this year and I’m considering LSU, for the dorm recommendations, do you recommend them in the order listed or is it just the dorms on campus?
My experience so far is amazing! For my classes I’ve honestly have had the most understanding Professors and not a lot of academic stress from them. I live in Mcvoy and while it’s one I wouldn’t recommend I’ve made the best out of my experience! When you come to LSU going to a game is a must! The culture here is so competitive & fun, I love it!!!
Hey! The settling in took about less than a month after welcome week for me because LSU has welcome week which is basically a bunch of events and parties being held every night. And you’re also given a day to find your classes. Once I remembered how to get to my classes every day it wasn’t scary at all!

I'm from Louisiana and I'm considering going to LSU. How has your experience been so far in terms of classes/dorms/game day?
