In that case while role switch happens between primary and 1st standby , then 2nd and 3rd standys will become out of sync or invalid . Rather we could use cascading standbys as 2nd and 3rd standbys will be getting logs from 1st standby as fal_server for rest of standbys , in such case after role switch also , all will be in sync .. please correct me if I am wrong
Thats just an example !! There are 1000 scenarios and we cannot talk about each to explain a scenario. What happens on a switchover? what if there is logical standby? what if there is active DG? what if... what if.. and what if.. Focus on what being said in what context! Keep it relevant..
