I’m the worst skater boarder in my crew but anytime anyone wants to go do something gnarly I’m always down to go with and hold the camera or watch the road for traffic. Just being there when the homie gets that clip is the best vibe.
wow, what an amazing episode. this epitomizes the esoteric love we all have for skateboarding as skateboarders. the detailed intricacies and insane behind the scenes stories make this a really special show with an absolutely mesmerizing guest skater. can’t miss content here for anyone who appreciates skate culture on that level. thank you nine club
Crazy to think he can do all that crazy shit and get away with not eating vegetables! I’ve been clean eating for ages now and still ache like mad after a skate! Shits not fair 😂
This is what is so good about the Nine Club getting the back story of the immense ability, dedication and perseverance that a super talented skater like jamie has and displays in his career and videos, The process this dude goes through to get the clips on the Gnarliest obstacles is Epic his warm up is a good skaters peak performance no doubt his Analytical thought process and his Fearless approach to achieving the tricks he wants will keep him in the top level for years to come and rightly so. Great Show
Another thing I noticed is what Crob picked up on, his logic and science that he puts into skating rails, he doesn’t just ‘send it’ there’s methodical thinking behind each one of his grinds, it’s interesting and factual. Love it man
When are you guys gonna start dropping the regular Interview episodes again? Lotta great skaters whose stories I still wanna know about! Hoping to finally get a 3-4 hour long Guy Mariano interview.
I use to skate from age 12 to 19 and just wasn't into it, the lockdown happened and I decided to start skating again. It was like finding an old love. Started watching skate videos and this dude blew my mind, defending my new favorite skater. Glad you guys got him, also my new fav podcast 👌.
@@nikokaapa I think you're the one with unresolved issues. Why would you care what someone else does or doesn't eat? Sounds like you have some personal things to work out. Best of luck with that mentality.
Jamie sold me on his explanation of the pants - gonna pick up quite a few pairs for my own comfort first off, but also to support my man that stays pushing the limits of skateboarding.
love the quietness of new bearings! soon as i hear the bearings its time to clean them! dirt scars the balls and races which make the balls make noise but also cause friction so it doesnt roll as fast.
Wow this episode was so fun! The first few in-person guests to return have been home runs man…Jamie is such a likable guy, good at talking, big time sender, appears humble and thankful, great great content!!
the veggie shit is so funny. i remember on King Of The Road the Deathwish team had to eat cricket tacos. Jamie was fine... but he barfed when he tried to eat guacamole. fucking hilarious
Alex Honnold is the free solo climber, if anyone is curious. He's incredible and the documentary about him free-soloing El Capitan is great. It's Called "Free Solo".
@@ashleybrown4754 They touched on it a bit in this episode and have in others, but it's such a nuts mindset. "If this goes wrong, I die" is not something I ever want to have on my mind
Honnold’s free solo up El Cap is, in my mind at least, the single greatest sporting achievement ever. Skaters do some really gnarly shit too, that could kill them, but climbing a 3000 ft sheer face with nothing but your wits and some chalk is some fucked up shit. You won’t walk away. Fall and it’s done.
I don't skate anymore, but I love Jamie. This guy is just awesome. No vegetables!? Too funny...and the technicality of describing tricks is madness...any kid learning has to listen and take notes.
So glad to see a trick on the 21 stair rail being talked about. I know El Toro is all the hype but I've been tripping on the 21 ever since Rowley boardslid the thing in the first Sorry video!
I did the windex cleaning trick to my bearings and I love them they roll better than I’ve ever had them roll after cleaning with acetone and lubing them dry bearings are truly better
Incidentally, I do semi-agree with Kelly on the Cinnamon roll/Danish in the morning. It isn't breakfast food, just like Blueberry Muffins aren't. Have them for Elevensies (yes, I do come from pre-WW1, 😂), or for Afternoon Tea (if you haven't guessed by now, I am British 😂😂) - i.e. later in the morning/day once you've already had a proper brekkie and are already out & about and active! But having cakes and sweets for actual breakfast is just weird
Jamie rips for the big boys. Homie is a meatball front crooking big rails. And This dude straight doesn't like vegetables. Listening to him made me realize I don't dislike them as much as I thought I have
Such a good conversation once it's past the food segment 🍽️😂 Seriously good hearing Jamie's perspective, such a gnarly skater, great seeing people back in the"studio" as well 👍🔥🔥
bakersfeild school kink rail, wish i knew that info about that rail when the part came out! makes that video part such a gnarly story with those large lug nuts
I love the part when they talk to the skater about board set ups, so many people have superstition over certain things and personal preferences over things, it’s great to listen to the variations amongst pro skaters
such an humble, likable dude! had an awesome time listening to this 🙏🏽 hearing the story behind those gnarly tricks was so rad!
