I wish they would add a top external pocket on the lid. ALSO, they should sew the front two straps midway on the bag so the buckles don't just flop down when undone.
I have went through prob 20 plus bags trying to find the perfect one this bag is amazing the buckles the quick access to the main compartment the straps and comfort of it it’s honestly amazing

Good point about having to jam the water bottle back into the pocket after you take it out. Never thought of the items falling to the open space.
Thanks! Definitely why I usually only keep a few items in the bag. Free space inside makes it much easier to use the exterior pockets
