Good to be out and fish for awhile Adrian in a cold day and catch a fish is a icing on the cake mate.Hope whether warms up and go out for another fishing trip.I dislike to be in Auckland, millions of cars and high traffic, no worries, have a nice day and tight lines mate.
Hi Tony, spot on mate, always good to be in a river fishing for trout well away from the hustle & bustle of busy roads & towns that's for sure, give me the country areas all the time. Thanks for dropping by Tony, always good to hear from you.. Take care & look after yourself mate..👍👍 cheers Adrian (meppstas)
Hi Allan, it is normally a good stretch of water that gives up a few trout, but the fishing conditions weren't ideal on this trip & the fishing can run a little hot & cold from time to time. But that's just trout fishing isn't it.. 👍👍 cheers Adrian (meppstas)
Nice footage and fishing Adrian :) It's so great to see a local, fishing in the wonderful streams and in my home of Tassie , it make me a little bit homesick too :( All the best!
Thanks Dean, there's nothing better than being in a stream or rivers chasing trout that's for sure, I'm sure you'll get back home again one day & get back in a stream mate, take care & stay in good health..👍👍 cheers Adrian
i know its rarely the best conditions but theres some magic about catchin trout early with the mists liftin off the water, river looks amazin mate, tight lines from northern ireland 👍👍🎣
Yes, the conditions weren't good and you are correct is saying there's something magical catching a trout in the mist that's for sure. The river is one of my favourite waters to fish, so peaceful being in it. Good to hear from you all the way from Northern Island too, I appreciate your positive comments, I gather your now moving into the colder weather now with it being mid Autumn there in Northern Ireland. 👍👍 cheers Adrian (meppstas)
@@adrianwebb7399 yes mate we are slap bang in the middle of autumn now so its almost the end of our season, 31st oct is the last day for trout n salmon until next march, love the channel mate and like yourself i think mepps are second to none in the rivers and streams for trout, even our sea run browns smash them
Hope it warms up in a few weeks for both of us :). Also I reckon I went 'swimming' where you started, not super slippery but lodged my foot between rocks and then stepped before I realised it.
