@@akiraic Exaggerate about what? She has an accent (like we all do) but her English seems solid. No native English speaker in the US is going to have any trouble understanding her.
@@thy_player_of_games an accent and a difficultly to properly pronounce words are two very different things. They may be related, but they are not the same thing.
If any japanese learners or japanese people that see this, pls reach out to me, i want to speak japanese together, ive been learning Japanese for 3 years.
US citizens have a bad reputation. You will be pleasantly surprised at how kind and helpful Americans are. Your English is charming and clear. You will be fine. Have fun and welcome.

As there's people that judge you for your accent there's a lot more will treat you more nicely because you're not American or speaks English well because we all have the first time so don't bother yourself be yourself and you will absolutely find people that are ready to help
With English that good you're not going to have any trouble being understood. Even if you didn't speak English most people will treat you well, though not many American know Japanese, so you might have had trouble being understood. Machine translation makes that a whole lot easier than it used to be.
It's not abt the language but the skin. Unfortunately the truth is theres alot of ppl there doesnt like us yellow skin. They deem all yellow skin frm a certain part of the country.
I would recommend speaking English, your English is very good as a non-native speaker, so I would stress too much about not being understood or people not liking your accent. Most Americans can understand accents, and often on the east/west coast they find them interesting. I would recommend speaking a little bit louder as your voice seems a bit soft. I hope you have a good time on your trip!
People being rude about others not speaking English is something that happens, often in southern states to Spanish, Chinese, and Arabic speakers. So that isn’t something you should be afraid of.
Mention you're from Japan in the first couple of sentences when talking to someone. There's a lot of Asian discrimination, but Japan is generally regarded as one of the "good" Asian countries. You probably won't meet any hostility if you say your Japanese.
Maybe. Depends who you meet. If you explain it's your first visit and are struggling, most will be understanding and helpful. Unfortunately, there is a chance you might encounter someone who is very judgemental and cruel about your heavy accent.
Your English is better than that of some of the people born here :-) The only thing you need to improve is your "L" sounds (which are okay, but could be better).
You speak english just fine And I think you got a beautiful accent
don't exaggerate

@@akiraic She's not pronouncing a single thing wrong. So, I don't know what you're talking about here.
@@thy_player_of_games I said she has difficulty, you muppet. But as expected, your comprehension skills are non-existent
Just by being yourself, nobody would ever deny your politeness
You will be fine. Come to Dallas they will love you and treat you very well.
I think a lot of people in the US would think a japanese accent sounds cute

Your grammar and vocabulary are good. Americans in metropolitan areas hear accents every day. You have nothing to worry about!
Are you doing a full USA tour? People will love you, you might meet rude people but most will be nice since you are a foreigner.
Generally speaking, people will try to help you out. Your English is good anyhow, so you’ll be just fine.
You sound like you speak it very good and if you look pretty like you do most people in the United States will be nice to you
When will you be in the Los Angeles California area? You speak good English

In some areas, you might not be treated well. Like some others have said, though, most will find you cute and adorable.

In the US, people kinda just expect everyone to speak english, so since you do, i think you'll be all good:)

I know it sounds insane what I’m about to say, but since you are Japanese, you are most likely going to have a great experience
It takes a really long time to lose an accent, like 5 years of residency at the very least
Don’t worry about it
