This game is the first one I've changed my settings in heavily. Perhaps make a video going through some of your settings as well? Remapping buttons for some of my characters to my left and right click downs for example, have up'd to my game a bit.
I would love to play on my iPad, but man, there are just no HUD settings and hardly any control settings at all. I can’t play claw like that so it’s just too limited compared to playing controller. It’s disappointing to find out the game has been in soft launch for 2 years and this was either never brought to their attention or they just never bothered doing anything about it.
Btw, I saw you made a video on the Backbone. Do you ever play handheld on that? Honestly I think there are much better gamepad grips/cases out there these days but it’s an interesting way to play regardless.

You're welcome! The Dex dock is great and no, Windows is not required! You could go; dock > Monitor (you'd just need to sort an audio solution via Bluetooth etc)
So can I connect this phone to my 4K 60 Tv and play this game like playing on a Playstation or Xbox? If so that is so cool, I might consider red magic next time.
When you said you connected your phone to your monitor my guess was an iPhone 15 or ASUS ROG 8 with a USB-C to HDMI adapter. I’ve been trying to figure out what the latency is like if it’s the same or better than a Switch. I believe the Switch uses a USB-C to HDMI adapter in its dock but it’s optimized for low latency. JW how the RedMagic compares. Also why use a Samsung dex station? Does the RedMagic not have its own “dock”?
Hey man, I cant compare with switch latency as I am yet to try the switch version, but there is no perceptible delay with my set up. And I already owned the Samsung dock from when I had an S23 Ultra, it just happens to work perfectly with any USB C phone that fits 😊
Sure - I use a Redmagic 9 Pro phone, docked in a Samsung Dex dock! This then outputs vids HDMI to my monitor. I then wire up an Xbox controller for low latency and I often plug in a wired mouse to navigate the menus 🙂

I don't use the backbone anymore, I picked up a Razer Kishi ultra and use that when I'm not at my desk!

Yup, Redmagic scales it to 16:9 to give you fullscreen, also the cooling fan is HUGE for long sessions!
