One of McDonald's finest vocal performances on the original I've always thought; with even more stellar vocal arrangements included on this remix. And the original song always ended just too quickly; until today! Someday we may learn more about Grandad Steve and the history, I hope. Perhaps a lifetime working in the studio on various albums, or maybe a professor or teacher of music or audio engineering. Whatever the background, can't wait for the listening journey in 2025 and beyond.

As for me, well I really am a grandad - I have no musical background etc. (in fact I can't even sing in the shower) I have simply always liked a wide variety of music and during covid/lockdown learnt how to blend/mix original songs with backing tracks on my PC DAW (Digital Audio Worksation) I started out with simple karaoke instrumentals that you can find on TH-cam and then improved on this by purchasing the studio reproduced isolated backing tracks that enables me to say start a song with just a saxophone - or the background vocal "ooohs" in this particular track. Have a good 2025.
