Talking about a guitarist in Nightwish.. Not many people realize that Emppu (that very one guitarist in Nighwish) have to play both, the lead and the rhythm guitar cause there is no other guitar in the band. These days ofc. Troy helps a lot with his skills to play almost anything.
And he looks fine with it, actually - seems to enjoy his parts. More like he can't stand his silent moments - goes around the stage bothering others :)
Yes, Nightwish is my absolute favorite and those videos I always watch, but once in a while a try some unknown band to see what I think about it. That's what I like about reaction channels, you might find some new gems while enjoying nice reactions. But thank you for continuing your journey with Nightwish. I think it's quite natural for girls and women to be fans of Nightwish, because they have had excellent female singers, nice and pretty women that are easy to identify with and have as a role model. And of course Nightwish plays good music that all people like, no matter the age or gender.

This is why you have to experience Nightwish LIVE to really appreciate the musicianship of the band and the impact on the crowd. Floor as usual was the Dutch dynamo that just splits the heavens with her range, power and stage presence. One of the best bands in the world period!!! You might want to try one of the newer sensational bands, an all female band from Japan that are just superior musicians and have a great Metal, Rock and Pop blend that is gaining them many fans. They are a guilty pleasure to listen to and always put a smile on your face with any of their songs, try Take Me Higher LIVE (th-cam.com/video/vFyYiPDZzdw/w-d-xo.html) for a real feel for this band!!
The emotional coupling of Floor and Jukka is unreal, but if Marco or Emppu (the guitarist) isn't there, the song doesn't work at all. In essence, Tuomas has made Nightwish into a very well-oiled machine -- and I feel we are just beginning to see what that machine is capable of, and it will live up to it's true potential. This is why I am seriously looking forward to the album being released next year.
This is just one of those songs that stays so high all the time like most older Nightwish songs, where Floor's voice just doesn't sound quite correct. Her tone is very bright, and she sounds best when she switches between chest and head like in Ghost Love Score, but in songs like this, where she should be in head all the time it just doesn't fit her style perfectly. This is mainly due to the fact that these songs written for Tarja's darker tone that sounds soft even when she stays high. Marco really shined and stole the stage in this song.
as a suggestion, as well as to compare their original singer tarja(tar-ya) and floor, do a reaction to 'stargazers' live, for floor, i believe its either wembly or tampere. for tarja, there are plenty to choose from i think. i recomend stargazers, mainly because floor sticks to a pure operatic theme the whole way through, vrs the other songs where she puts her own spin on things. i personally feel that tarja has the edge on the pure operatic, as well as earning bonus points for being the original. floor is very close tho, imo, in addition to being so wickedly versatile. to compare any other song, with the changes floor makes, its like comparing apples to oranges imo. you cant really compare them at that point. so watch both versions of stargazers, and tell us what you think. if you like tarja and want more, i recomend phantom and the opera, from the end of an era, and creek mary's blood live.
