I recently saw these caps and was wondering about how it would look and you have answered my questions. I refuse to pay somebody $250-$400 to do crochet locs. Thank you so much! Great video.
Sooo I did this with the deep wave crochet hair and it came out amazing but I actually folded the band and sewed the cap on to my corn rows so I didn't have to put any concealer, this style is very cute and I'm glad to see u slaying with this method as well, good job!
I will admit i hated the idea of this cap. I thought it a complete waste of time. But i have been wanting locs but i know my hair need to grow out more. Now im definitely about to try this cap out. It looks amazing on you. You are the first to make it look natural thank you . You are beautiful ❤️❤️
Omg!!! Thank you soooooooo much!! Having carpal tunnel and hand swells often I swear u just gave me life n made my life so much easier! Trying this today! Omg bless u!!!!
Girl. This is genious. I had crochet my locs to the braided wig cap, but i didnt like the front of the wig. I didn't thing of crocheting the front individually. This is genious, im glad i found you channe
So happy from this demo. I want to do a long loc look, but I have pretty long hair already. After doing twists yesterday it put into perspective that I don't want to spend two days or more between care, any kind of braid and then the install. I'd also prefer to reuse the locs considering I should be able to. I think my wrap game is awful, so I was going to be pulling my long hair through the locs, and all and all it felt like more potential to just damage my hair trying to make a style work. This is so much better to let my hair live, just style it for cover and then do the cap and maybe look at investing in the individual locs if my hair ever feels in a better place to take the weight and I have time to install and properly lay out a pattern. I'm also considering doing a cut to start a little more fresh, so something like this would give me the confidence to start a clean growth.
Thank you for this. I can't cornrow for anything but wanted to try bohemian braids, crochet style of course, so I don't have to pay hundreds! This video was so helpful as to how to get the best natural look.
Girl! I aways wanted to do the faux locs but i was not about to spend 100 years trying to put them in my hair... Then this video pops up!! YYYYYEEEEEESSSSSSS!! THANK U SOOOOOOO MUCH!!
This is amazing. My first time hearing about braided caps. I CANNOT cornrows well at all. So this really is GREAT! Now, if I can just learn that crocheting technique. Thanks for sharing and teaching!!
Just made my first crochet braid wig with the braided cap and it turned out amazing! I'm so ready to do all kinds of styles now. Not a hair stylist but I love hair!!
Looks so good! Honestly though I've watched like fifteen shake and go cap crochet tutorials and yours was the only one that looked natural to me. I'm not so sure I could pull it off... so tempted to try now though.
I made this and it came out so cute. I used net cap though with clips in it. Less stress on my hair and edges. And helps decrease frizz because I take it off at night. Thank you so much
I had faux locs in for like 6 months . I took them out to give my edges a break. so I started wigging it and now I see all this crochet stuff so I'm gonna try.
very cute. I just bought a braided cap (didn't even know they made these) & i wasn't sure what i want to create. but after looking at this video, i think i i found my new style!
GIRL I LOVE THIS!!!! I was trying to figure out what to do with my edge hair underneath and this made it click!! Lol thank you for making a short sweet to the point Poppin video!!
Nice. I have just bought the braided cap, unfortunately I paid more for it. I decided to use the cap to save my own hair plus I can make wigs exactly the way I want. Love your finished look! Good Job.
Yes girl, and it was so easy. I sewed the closure on first ,then the sewed the tracks. I thought about sewing a few rows of the cap braids together since my head is on the smaller side but I'll do that the next time. You should definitely make a video making a full one with the closure.
This is an amazing idea. I've had crochet braids sitting in my cupboard for ages. I'm definitely going to try this, I have so much hair and was dreading the idea of corn rowing it all. Thanks.
I've never been good with doing my hair and I just recently found out about the crochet style. Then I saw your video and girl I am inspired! I can't corn row at all and you just saved me time and money! Will be trying to over the weekend
I never knew braided wig caps existed. You're a lifesaver because I cannot cornroll either. I have used shake and go products in the past I will definitely check this out because I was going to install the exact same hair in the upcoming weeks this will save me a lot of time and money 😊 thanks
Oh! Yes lady! I've seen those caps in my beauty supply store and I was wondering what to do with them!! Getting some of them today!! Thank you & you look amazing!
This is so neat. I will definitely buy this braided cap. I've been wanting to get the faux locs but new my hair was too weak and thin to take all that pulling and tugging. I'm going to do this soon. Thanks for sharing!!!
Wow!!! I am Soo late with knowing about this braided cap!!! Nothing like being able to take off your faux locs...will be buying a few.. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you young lady. I've never been serious about wigs because I'm not comfortable with them and really don't know what I'm doing. 😞 I need to try a little harder I guess if I want to be more serious about learning.
Really nice job. Going out to find this cap . This will save my hair from being pulled on so I should see better condition because of that and I can wash my hair at the end of the week .
You TOTALLY Saved My Life!!! Great for beginners like me. It took me an hour and it turned out AWESOME!! In Hawaii, that cap is $25 bucks, and the hair is $15/pack. It was the best $145 dollars I've blessed my self with since my African Coutour dress $275. . If there is a link to a website where I can get faux locs for the prices listed above, "hook" a sister up. I am looking to buy 1 pack of grey color 20" "Soul" with curly wavy ends. Amazon only has 6 pack.
The end look was soooo natural, I love it... When you pulled out the Bobby pins the first thing I thought was, 'You can't get an MRI with that wig on' lol
girl you did that,i gots to try,i have a cap already but never used and considering i did crotchets n it had my head hurting, this would be the better option for me......thanks for sharing
Thank you for this video, I'm making my own mermaid locs wig and I just knew I was missing a step. So now I ha e to try and braid or box my short hair in the front and ha e the wig clipped back some
Making my first crochet wig and I always get super conscious of the net showing since I'm so used to actually getting it done to my hair. But I like your ideas! Gonna try them out.
omg i dont know how to do hair at all and ive been wanting faux locs for a while but theyre exspensive not to mention the rumors of how painful the installation is, but im sooooo gonna try this!
I love it! TY soo much for this tutorial! I bought my crochet twists 2 mths ago n didn't do my hair yet bcuz it's natural n so thick n I can't braid it good enuf...but thanks to u...I know what to do now! just make the wig!👍👍😘
Nice wig. New subbie. I wish they had made these cornrow caps along time ago. I use to have to beg to get my hair braided so I finally learned myself. Lol
This was sooo cute on you! And a cool idea. I've wanted faux locs for a while now but can't see myself sittin for hours to get it done. And then I get bored with my hair so often that I probably would want to take it out after a week or 2. Definitely have to try this! Thanks for sharing! xoxo - China (new subbie)
I think this crap is great for braids/twist. The one's that go horizontal, or in a circle are great for fros, or crochet braids that are untwisted/ or just curly textured. So many options to choose from!!!
Finally someone shows those of us who can't braid what to do!!! New Subbie here thanks for the great video.
cocotreasure
cocotreasure right that's what I said
Exactly! I can barely manage 2 cornrows.
I recently saw these caps and was wondering about how it would look and you have answered my questions. I refuse to pay somebody $250-$400 to do crochet locs. Thank you so much! Great video.
MsRosie34
Damn! That’s a lot for crochet! In The Gump it’s 50-100 dollars for crochets.
damm that's alot of money. my girl does them for 60 over here
Good Lawwwwd!!! Who is charging a grip to install crochet hair?!! 😱😱😱
my person sid she charges $85.00, but I have to buy the hair. She braids hair wayyyy to tight. I'll pass.
Sooo I did this with the deep wave crochet hair and it came out amazing but I actually folded the band and sewed the cap on to my corn rows so I didn't have to put any concealer, this style is very cute and I'm glad to see u slaying with this method as well, good job!
Candace Davis Good idea! Was it a problem sleeping in it? How did you protect it at night and refresh it in the morning?
seen like that would be bulky
Thanks for sharing this. I was wondering if you could sew on.
I tried your technique and I totally love it. It took 7 packs of hair. thanks for sharing
Girl. This is genious. I had crochet my locs to the braided wig cap, but i didnt like the front of the wig. I didn't thing of crocheting the front individually. This is genious, im glad i found you channe
Now this is a crochet style I can handle. I wouldn't have to sit hours for this.
That's my favorite part about using the cap!
Awesome just decided to stop paying people to do my hair when I can do it...awesome video thanks.!!
