I was thinking as I neared this finale in my own playthrough that I probably would have to pick one to stick with, and just like automata it had me second guessing my decision by the time it made me actually choose 😭. I’m so glad this exists to say “hey there’s a true ending” so that I can go back and figure out how to get it.

They say they can’t avoid a conflict with the Earth, which leans into the theory that this *is* the rocket from Automata and they are running low on time to finalize everything. That’s why the ghosts are supposed to be harsher? To force solutions?
in these drag on dragoon(drakengard) nier games no one is a good guy everyone has their issues and mental health problem in the end no one is cured everyone is a psychopath these games can be truly horrifying and enjoyable at the same time truly a dark masterpiece of modern times.
The one thing I hate about this is the choices of who gets there revenge in order to repeat and get the true ending. both choices are impossible, really!
Yeah, in F66x’s story, don’t they fight flowers that bear similarities to the Flower from D3? Maybe all the weapons we’re gathering are from alternate branches in time from the Drakengard/Nier universe and The Cage is what’s storing them because their respective branches were erased by the Recorders/Accord from D3? Accord does have an affinity for weapon stories.

If you chose yuzuki first then you can’t unlock hina Remember when in the 2 temporary when you enter you have like a chat with a ghost? There if you choose to prefer mother, you will have yuzuki, if you choose father, then you will get Hina It’s impossible to change

After 1 full year, season 2 finally comes to an end. This finale plot twist sure was something, Yoko Taro can have some good unexpected plot twists in the game series. Does the earlier Flower room reference have something in common with Niers Emil and his Sister? As of now, the game does not offer you to play both finale sides, unless you have 2 accounts and went through the main game twice. I had a friend that went through the Hina arc and I recorded it through his screenshare, the Fames/Audio is a bit muffled on the Hina part.
I get the whole point is they are creating a situation for where to "place the blame" is open to interpretation. Sure you can be upset at the mother for spending them into debt but beating her up to the point that she's on life support seems to me to be a step more extreme then the other side of the equation. In other words, the storyline on the whole works for me but I'm not sure how balanced and equivalent the situations are particularly. I wonder if something like, he's cheating on her because he's upset that she's spending too much and she's spending too much because she's upset that he's cheating on her, would have worked better towards what they were trying to get across.
I’m thinking both the real world and Cage at some point will merge and possibly cause some end of the world type of ordeal, kind of like SINoALICE’s story to some regard

I hope season 3 still has them together just going through the Cage. Also it’s clear that Yuzuki has the brains of the family the way he left his dads crime scene. Hina just does it in daylight, and I can’t believe she wasn’t caught by hospital staff for what she did.
i'm just theorizing things but, considering how the staff didn't seem to notice what actually happened and how hina is a literal drug dealer... i wonder if hina actually used a poison that's hard to trace to commit the crime. (or she easily could've used an ill-prepared syringe for legal reasons i wish not to describe how that she nicked from the staff) that being said, i hope at the very least, the siblings will be an easter egg you can find if you got around to doing the true ending!

@@anggakarapreviandana2877 I'm sure untraceable poison still exists in todays society. Back the 1960's the crooked CIA had delevoped a gun that fired a "special" poison darts/needles. That would dissolve inside their targets body making it impossible to trace. The poison would then cause their target to die form a heart attack. Making it look like their target died form ordainary heart attack and not the untraceable poison dart used on them. With todays current modern technology. Who knows what scary weapons and gizmos they have today. 🙄

I've about had it up to here with The Cage residents (the ghosts). While they (most of em, aside from Carrier) do care legitimately care about about the people whos lives the effect, they tend to prioritize maintaining their home over all else even if it means fucking people over. I'm eager to meet this "Absolute Being" and learn their motivations for doing what they do. Also eager to learn more about the crows. They don't seem evil despite their presence corrupting The Cage and the memories they enter.
That's the thing, are the 'crows' really corrupting things? Or trying to change them for the better but Mama, Papa, Babe, Carrier and the others just mindlessly maintaining a status quo and undoing the crows work?

Yeah, Reincarnation is definitely a Nier/Yoko Taro game....no such thing as a happy ending...but we keep playing anyway

Go back to the final scare Crow through map selection and redo the finale for it to appear.
