    Hey Ant, Finally got a bit of time to have a nice cuppa and watch the vid. I get a big kick out of your sweet little girl. She can rock those shades, eh :-)
    Does Finn take photographs ? I think you mentioned your wife did. So nice to see the family out on a group shoot. I like the field of daffies mistake.
    It looks really artsy ! Nice shots throughout being the first time giving the Halina a spin. Nice closeup of the vehicle at the end. Good on ya, Mate ! 😎👍

      Thanks Sarah! She’s a natural :)
      Fin has took some good images but he doesn’t do it very often!
      Was a fun day out even with the mistakes!

    Nice little TLR you found. They are probably my favorite medium format cameras. Right now I am a proud owner of a Mamiya C22 and a Rolleiflex F 3.5 Automat. I noticed you also have a Pentacon Six which is another favorite. Unfortunately mine had an unfortunate accident and no longer works.

    Such a stunning video, Ant! Love the captures, you have taken! Your daughter's chocolate hand reminded me of my daughter and son's early years... although, it still happens sometimes;-) And the snoring is already really cute and has almost reached my level ;-))

      Ha I would imagine a lot of parents relating to the chocolate hands! have to get them before everything gets covered!
      I am pretty sure in a few years time she will love me for the snoring capture! ;)

    Love your videos, been shooting the Mamiya C220 for years and love the old film cameras. Best advice I received from my uncle as he gave me my camera was when it comes to TLR's is don't be afraid of the tripod.

    • @AntMcLean
      @AntMcLean  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a good piece of advice given the the shutter speed of this one!

    You have a beautiful family, Ant, and they are so supportive of your hobby! It's a fun video to watch, love the interactions between you and Finley! Looks like your darling little girl grew quite a few inches over the winter.

      Thank you so much Phyllis ! They just know what I’m like when I can’t go and shoot lol
      It’s all good fun and they get some nice memories of the day too so it’s all good.

    An absolute joy and delight to see your family being so supportive and at ease with your photography. Your camera man is hilarious and I loved his suggestion about making bloopers! Your tiny chocolate handed model is adorable, what a character. You getting to know the Halina was most interesting and informative, so pleased you got some totally unique captures.

      Thanks Lorraine, even tho I messed up with it a couple of times it did good! It’s nice to have Fin want to shoot the video for me and get him involved!

    I only finished the first five minutes and I already have two comments. First, Finley is hilarious. My two favorite comments so far are “I don’t know what that means, “and “you should’ve bought a different camera. “With him around, you won’t be able to take yourself too seriously. Second, your daughter at that red table… That, to me, was the money shot. You know me and color and then you have that adorable model… Priceless.

      Thanks Lisa! Little one had a great day and there was a couple of hours when we got there that I didn’t film anything as we was having a picnic and letting her run around with Fin, hence the snoring later!
      It was a nice chilled day out all round, Fin did a great job of filming and that’s always helpful to me having him around when we want to do a video

    Great video Ant. Came out very nicely given that was just a second test roll too! A lovely selection of stills from both the Halina and a few mixed in with the Sony too. Nice to see you and your family enjoying the day out and especially enjoyed the little conversations between you and your son, especially the little hints of sarcasm! I hope you pay your camera man well, does a great job! Top work, another brilliant video and fascinating insight into your workflow. By the way that tree ladder climber thing looks amazing!

      @AntMcLean  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Ed! It was nice to be able to put the whole day out into one video and include all the images I shot that day for us to look back on.
      Ha we had a lot of fun filming it and they enjoy it too luckily. That climber does look amazing and one day I will come away with a decent shot of it!
      Have a great weekend buddy

    What a beautiful place.. you got some lovely portraits with the Sony!
    You did well with the TLR. It doesn't seem to be the most user friendly camera to use. You got some really nice captures!
    Great video as always mate!
    Cheers for sharing

      Thanks buddy! It’s a lot easier to get portraits of the little one with digital and auto focus! She doesn’t stop still for a second!
      The Halina was a lot of fun to use and very different for me but I was really pleased with the results.
