The sugared fruit and floral arrangement were great finds. I thrifted a grapevine wreath with pine greens pine cones and sugared fruit. I’ll be using this year. If I lived closer I would visit the booth and purchase the tray with the ducks. It was so pretty. The chicken turned out beautifully with the dark wax. We used to cook our quesadillas in a skillet but recently started baking them…oh goodness they are much better! The tortilla just gets so crunchy and yummy.

I have a 9 mo old yellow lab (Gus) and he has glanced and maybe gazed at the TV a few times, but today he saw Buster and got all excited and jumped up on the sofa, barked, and tried to get to the TV. (It's above the fireplace...Lol) He and I enjoyed the video today!
Hey girl! Love your haul. Google Colonial Williamsburg Christmas. They used fruit in their decor. Up until last year I always did colonial using apples, lemons & pineapple. Then I surprised everyone even Santa last year, went Whimsical. LOL Donna, I have that very frame the oil painting is in. I had my bridal portrait in it, now my daughters. Donna the sugared fruit Christmas tree will look amazing. You can dyi regular faux fruit, I think they use mod podge and epson salts, could be fun to try. Chef James made one of my favorite meals. I mix salsa and sour cream to dip my slices in. Yummy!! Loved your thrift haul too❤️
I love that prayer book. I did a search and found it on Amazon, and bought it. They had two copies, so I got the next to the last one. Thank you for showing us that book! I’m tempted to get the last one for my Mom. Edit- Walmart has it online for only $4.50!
Quesadeas look delicious 😋 top it off with some Pico de Gallo easy recipe 2or3 Tomatoes cubed Lil less than 1/2 Chop brown onion Chop Cilantro lil less than half the bunch 2 Squeezed Lemons a dash of water Add a Dash of sp/💷 of course to your taste 😋 You can either top the Quesadea or add it inside when it's done great added flavor if you like all the ingredients 😊 enjoy

Thank you! Busters leg is doing better. He still has some problems here and there but not consistent like before. I’m keeping an eye on him. If it gets to a point it affects his quality of life, then we will have to get him surgery to fix it. I’m trying to hold off on that as long as possible. ☺️🙏🏼🐾

I use to go in the store by where I exercise but I stopped. They are always so rude and their prices are ridiculous. I don’t even bother going in there anymore. My favorite is the American Thrift store. ☺️❤️
About that goodwill, I wonder if employees are taking that Not for Sale stuff home with them. That’s crazy. Our Goodwill prices stuff too high. They get good stuff, but a lot of is too high for me to get and resell it in my booth. Salvation Army and a local thrift price so much better. And America’s Thrift has lots of good stuff, but it’s about 45 minutes from me. Anyway, I love your videos! I’d like to know more about what’s selling in your booth. My booth is in Alabama, so I might could copy you on some stuff that sells. I’d also like to know your pricing strategy. Love you!

Definitely the American thrift store for sure! You can try the Goodwill but it’s my least favorite. Biloxi also has an American thrift store too across from the mall. ☺️

All that “not for sale” business is the staff keeping that stuff for themselves or someone they know. They (Goodwill) say they can’t take anything from the store for something like two weeks, but that’s how they get the things they want out of the loop. The managers probably know it, too. I see it all the time over here.
Because items are donated to Goodwill they can mark things not for sale and take them home theirselves as well as hold for friends and family. It’s perfectly legal for them to do that too but I think they should have to sell all donated items, it defeats the purpose of donating in my opinion.

I used to donate to Goodwill but the last time I did the guy took my box of everyday glassware and tossed into a bin so hard glass went everywhere and I decided right then that I would not be donating to them anymore. We have lots more options in my town than Goodwill.

Hey girl! Love your haul. Google Colonial Williamsburg Christmas. They used fruit in their decor. Up until last year I always did colonial using apples, lemons & pineapple. Then I surprised everyone even Santa last year, went Whimsical. LOL Donna, I have that very frame the oil painting is in. I had my bridal portrait in it, now my daughters. Quesadeas look delicious 😋 top it off with some Pico de Gallo easy recipe
2or3 Tomatoes cubed
Lil less than 1/2 Chop brown onion
Chop Cilantro lil less than half the bunch
2 Squeezed Lemons a dash of water
Add a Dash of sp/💷 of course to your taste 😋
You can either top the Quesadea or add it inside when it's done great added flavor if you like all the ingredients 😊 enjoy

About that goodwill, I wonder if employees are taking that Not for Sale stuff home with them. That’s crazy. Our Goodwill prices stuff too high. They get good stuff, but a lot of is too high for me to get and resell it in my booth. Salvation Army and a local thrift price so much better. And America’s Thrift has lots of good stuff, but it’s about 45 minutes from me. Anyway, I love your videos! I’d like to know more about what’s selling in your booth. My booth is in Alabama, so I might could copy you on some stuff that sells. I’d also like to know your pricing strategy. Love you!

Definitely the American thrift store for sure! You can try the Goodwill but it’s my least favorite. Biloxi also has an American thrift store too across from the mall. ☺️

All that “not for sale” business is the staff keeping that stuff for themselves or someone they know. They (Goodwill) say they can’t take anything from the store for something like two weeks, but that’s how they get the things they want out of the loop. The managers probably know it, too. I see it all the time over here.

Because items are donated to Goodwill they can mark things not for sale and take them home theirselves as well as hold for friends and family. It’s perfectly legal for them to do that too but I think they should have to sell all donated items, it defeats the purpose of donating in my opinion.

I used to donate to Goodwill but the last time I did the guy took my box of everyday glassware and tossed into a bin so hard glass went everywhere and I decided right then that I would not be donating to them anymore. We have lots more options in my town than Goodwill.
