@@theclimateClub Can I please ask you to do some stuff on the potential for an 'agricultural' revolution, particularly in protein production. There is a really exciting company in Finland, called 'Solar Foods', ('Solian' that use renewable energy and air* to produce edible protein. I've been watching their progress for three or four years now, and thus far, they have kept to their timeline in terms of expansion. Next year, their product, a powdered protein, will be cheaper than animal protein, by 2030, or 2035 (my confusion, not theirs.)they believe it will be cheaper than plant protein, and requiring 1% the land area per Kg, with similar savings on water and energy. This would immediately free up all the land being used, currently, to grow cattle feed, freeing it up for re-wilding, or at worst, forestry. Sorry, went off on one. There is also the insect stuff etc. I would also love stuff on thermal batteries, especially for domestic use. Thanks for reading. *Their website is a little bit slippery, when it comes to the question of Nitrogen, or rather, nitrates/nitrites. and Phosphorous, although that find in Norway, can let us breathe a fifty to two hundred year sigh of relief, about not running out of phosphate.
@@jeffbenton6183 Depends what gas your using. If your using one particular gas, like CO2, then that's true. But most compressed air systems run on regular air, and vent it straight into the atmosphere when their done with it (with all the methane it accumulated underground).

Thank you so much!
Thank you for this informative video
Thanks Beyza!
I never knew there were so many methods for energy storage! Another great explanation as always
Thank you!
Beautiful and insightful summary!
Thanks Veronique!

Says the Barca fan…

Don't use depleted natural gas fields!
You'll flush out the remaining methane into the atmosphere, which is really bad.
Im not so sure - it looks like the system is fairly well contained. The only thing that goes in and out is the water, not gas.
