What are you guys talking? I have both the bikes. The 180 has clip-on handlebars, and the ergonomics is dedicated, so it's sportier than the 160 4v. Ergonomically, the 4v is more commuter-ish like an FZ or a Gixxer or an NS . And I assure you, the 160 4v can't beat the 180 anywhere in terms of outright performance, be it acceleration, top speed or in-gear acceleration. The 180 performs similar to that of the 200 4v. Now about sound, more bass doesn't always mean better sound. The new 4v with Bullpup sounds like a modified exhaust- the howl is missing , but the RTR 180 has almost similar bass with rumble, which makes the 180 the better sounding machine of the two. The 4v is smoother and returns better mileage and relaxed, whereas the RTR 180 is more eager, erratic, free-revving and beastly.
Now I will talk the facts.... 1. 180 has feel; means good low and mid end, what I say Is one should drive it to understand 2. Excellent build compare to 160 3. Engine on 180 is running from long it's service and maintenance at the same time part availablity is very good 4.it's also good for family too you can take you're mother too because seat is comfortable 5.if you drive above 100 Apache 180 will give you vibration... 6. Finally if you want rough and tough low maintenance bike go for 180 otherwise 160 is good option (and mileage is same on both)
160 4v maha bakwas bike hai na performance hai na looks hai na build quality but rtr is pure beast we need 2 valve for better acceleration and grunt we dnt need 4 valve because not everyone will ride on top speed
