Anuanom, megye di sɛ mo ho yɛ. This is just an updated version of an older video on the same topic. In that video, we looked at some Twi expressions used to ask how someone is faring in Twi. In this new one, we combine those expressions with a couple of new ones to ask about others. Meda mo ase!
Hello, this is so helpful! I’m Black American & my husband is Ghanaian. He’s teaching me the language but I want to surprise him. I will be turning in. Thanks for sharing!
I’m learning Twi, My husband is Ghanaian and he talks to me in Twi more often now. This has been helping me with my accent and pronunciation so much. Thank you. ♥️
"Apom te sen" is my favorite new expression! I like your humor too. Little suggestion: What about a little summary at the end? Thanks for your nice work here.
Hello, I would like to ask you a question about the Fante Language. What is the word or term for “important” in Fante? What is the meaning of SIE. ( the E is a rounded “E”). Or SIA in Fante ? You can respond to me here or at my email.
There are also Twi apps that you can use to help you study Twi. I would recommend TwiJuniorPro and the Akan Twi Guide which can both be found on Google Play Store.
I love your channel and website! You should know that the subtitles when you speak often are sooo not what you are saying in English. For example, when you talk about the “common Twi language” the subtitles say “comanche”🤣 The subtitles are really not helpful with what you are saying-
Hi Zana, glad to hear you enjoy my work. Medaase pii 😊. Regarding the subtitles, they're auto-generated by TH-cam, and they're mostly a mess, especially on videos by non-native English speakers like myself. Please turn it off by clicking on the "CC" on the player.

I have a question unrelated to this vid but how do you say weeks and months in twi?
1. week = nnawɔtwe (the plural of this is only shown with the number, e.g. nnawɔtwe mmienu = two weeks)
2. months = abosome
Oh okay thanks. I’m familiar with both words but I was taking to my nan in twi and I think I was mixing the two 🙃
