- Just another regular day in cat's life.
UPD: Three two-week-old kittens were found after their mother went missing. I fed them milk for about a month with a syringe. Only one of them survived. I called him "Zhmen'ka" (from Ukrainian "little handful") because he sat confidently in my palm, even when he grew up and did not fit in it. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car on July 10, 2021. He was 1 year and 2 months old. I decided not to delete this channel. May it be a good memory of good times. I hope he is now in a cat paradise and doing the same as in the video.

The cat is doing what a good hunter needs to d: figure out how to bring the prey down without getting hurt. Humans hunted huge prey the same way, in early days -- harass the thing just out of range of its defenses, enrage it, confuse it, exhaust it, then strike when it is sufficiently weakened. Mice, not any rodent, have terrible strong teeth to do real damage and bad infections. Better to discombobulate the mouse til it can't think straight to bite.

I am an animal cat lover, and I am particularly fond of cats. Most of my cat's had access to the outside unless I lived near a busy road. I admit I hate how they toy with their prey for fun rather than just kill the things outright. They are very cruel. In saying that I would never punish a cat for catching rodents or anything, because it's their nature. I couldn't watch though normally, I just let the cat get on with it. 9 times out of 10 it's a waste of time rescuing a bird or rodent from a cat, because either they die of shock, or they have a puncture wound. I have a mouse infestation and I am planning on getting a cat. It will definitely sort the problem out. I have to admit the cat in the video is fast! A very skilled hunter. Can I please borrow your cat?????? I can't help feeling sorry for the little mouse, it's hard to watch, but yet at the same time fascinating. Mice are incredibly cute, until they get inside your home and quickly begin to destroy everything. That's what's got me on a mission to find a solution. Mmmmmm get another cat😉

If it's a strey cat ,it is nature, but the cat is a strey,I always have cats and they do the same thing, she's not hungry just playing, so I just take the mouse out, and cat forgets about it and save the mouse, they have feelings and scare very fast. a cat is a hunter, this behavior is natural... it plays with what it catches and then eats it. they understand it as a game.maybe it seems sick, but it is in their nature as hunters.tiger and lion do the same sometimes when they catch a smaller animal.
