I grew up on ABBA thanks to my wonderful Russian mother introducing me to this wonderful Swedish American disco band in my youth. Always been a fan of ABBA since then, and never will stop being a fan of their incredible music.
ABBA was a hugely popular "supergroup" from Sweden. They were constant chart toppers back in the day & still continues to be loved (& played) the world over. Their sound is so unique in that they don't have a signature sound really. Every song sounds different from each other as they pulled influences from all genres of music. One has a disco vibe, another has a Spanish/Flamenco sound, the next is a bouncy pop song, you just never know what ABBA is going to bust out with.
