Fun fact: Mater actually keeps his original two paint jobs in the PS2, PC, and XBOX 360 versions from the first game in Cars Mater National, that being his green paint job, and his red striped paint job. He loses those two paint jobs in the Wii Version and PS3 version.
@@noahmaybin1781 my guess is that this is due to the hardware limitations of the PlayStation 2 being the oldest out of all the consoles this game was made for. Takes more CPU power to add random characters to the lineup.

Why are the opponents the same as in Story Mode?
