I absolutely LOVE him in Junebug. Ben's performance was outstanding imo. Initially I didn't find Johnny Johnsten to be a likable character at all, but when he tried to tape the meerkat program for his wife, I was converted. So sweet. =-) Have you seen a lot of Ben's other interviews and his bloopers? I just want to hug him!!!! He seems so sweet (and his fans who meet him say he is too)! =D

Well I wouldn't say he's the complete opposite, but he's definitely quite a bit different. They are similar in a few ways though. Ben's kind of quiet and low-key and he's said he's skeptical of hollywood as ryan was of Newport. Ryan also had this sincere sweetness about him, which I see in Ben. Other than that, they are most definitely complete opposites. =P

@springking5 5'7, Ellen is 5'7 and he's the same. Have you seen him on The O.C? He looks SHORT. Nobody who is 5'8-5'9 can look that short. Jason Statham and Kiefer Sutherland are 5'9, this guy is 5'7.
