With all due respect... They couldn't make a decent season with already written material (the comics), 8 episodes and 3 years... There's no way they would make a good show with another character.
I would say: absolutely yes. As long as they try not to go to the MCU’s post infinity saga or DCEU, have it just as good of the boys-verse, awesome world building, amazing writing, and directing. It would work as long as they know what they are doing. 🙂

Yeah but Ninja Turtles was still different enough from daredevil besides a few similarities, Agent Spider is too derivative of Spiderman but it could still be made.
The difference is that TMNT wasn't a straightforward direct parody of Daredevil. It was a parody of the comics at the time using Daredevil as an inspiration for some of the concepts.
A one shot detailing Invincible's interaction with him could be fun. He could meet other off brand versions of Marvel superheros in a tongue in cheek way.
I talked with one of the producers of the invincible show during an event at SCAD, he said that they had a WHOLE BUNCH of ideas for spinoffs, but that it would all depend on Amazon being interested in dropping the dough. I really do think they'd do it without hesitation if money wasn't an issue.

It's not that they're not currently getting paid well, it's that it's a contract by contract basis.

I feel like in invincible I'd want Agent Spider to be a little different from Peter. Maybe have him not be as responsible maybe he'd actually ignore some crimes or hesitant to help out if it's just like bank robbers if he's with his universe Mary Jane. His priorities would be cases like Professor Ock and not care about cases the police can handle.

Writing an entire show for him would be more time consuming and much more restrictive creatively than writing for basically any other character, because it would be a legal landmine field. If there's ever going to be a full on Invincible spinoff show it will likely be Tech Jacket or The Astounding Wolf Man.

You could have made a video talking about portrayals of Spiderman in animated shows and then had a dedicated section for how Agent Spider in Invincible is how he could be portrayed more maturely than current offerings. But this isn’t worthy of a full length Invincible-adjacent vid imo. the BIG problem with an Agent Spider franchise is that this conversation will never end, the spiderman comparisons would just put a sour taste in people's mouth and the Agent would never find his own footing

Apparently Spectacular Spider-Man was going to let Peter age. After 5 seasons of high school, the hope was to do some adult direct to dvd movies covering the college years and beyond.
I just assumed that Agent Spider + His followinf riff on the world’s greatest detective’s name was all just a not-so-subtle nod to the Marvel Team-Up comic where he meets the actual Spider-man for the same reason… …only to then make the same statement about Spidey’s name. If anything I thought it was a unique and clever way to dodge copyright issues while still giving us a decent bit of those comic moments in an official capacity.
I feel like Feshmen year or “friendly neighbor hood Spider-Man” has been “coming soon” for so long that it will be dead on arrival. It’s changed names, flipped from being mcu to mcu multiverse and taken enough time I am convinced it’s had production hell.

Dough? So far they have been pretty cheap with what animation they have done. Only the gore is well done.

Agent Spider and The Brit show would be a nice contrast to the Amazing Friends. Package like that you can go anywhere with the story.
I just assumed that Agent Spider + His followinf riff on the world’s greatest detective’s name was all just a not-so-subtle nod to the Marvel Team-Up comic where he meets the actual Spider-man for the same reason… …only to then make the same statement about Spidey’s name. If anything I thought it was a unique and clever way to dodge copyright issues while still giving us a decent bit of those comic moments in an official capacity.
Really hope he gets a cameo in Beyond the Spider-Verse

I feel like Feshmen year or “friendly neighbor hood Spider-Man” has been “coming soon” for so long that it will be dead on arrival. It’s changed names, flipped from being mcu to mcu multiverse and taken enough time I am convinced it’s had production hell.
if there ever would be an "agent spider" show, I hope that Rino Romano, the best voice of Spidey, would be included somewhere
