You're welcome! Yes, definitely! Merge is a great place to start when looking for educational VR and AI apps. Best of luck!
Hi Sam thanks a lot for this awesome overview of these online educational games.... thanks to you I have discovered some excellent tools to enhance my online lessons.
However, some parents at my school aren’t too happy (in fact a few complained in writing) when they learn that their children are signing up to educational sites and platforms due to privacy concerns (the students are asked to provide personal identification info when signing up). What is your take on this? Or could you recommend some that have stricter security protection settings? TIA
Hi Sebastian, Thanks for your comment and my apologies for the long delay in responding here!
Yeah, issues around privacy and having students sign up for multiple accounts is really something that has to be dealt with on a district basis as they are often the ones determining which programs meet their established privacy standards. In general programs pretty much have to be COPPA compliant, though, in order to have any shot at making it in the U.S. educational market.
I used to love to teach history using programs like Oregon Trail. I also used to teach problem solving and critical thinking using Zoombinis.
And also Math Blaster
Awesome, thanks for the suggestions!
Thanks for the suggestion!
Hi, love the content. watching your vids to build a product to help and improve the learning of a 3rd world country. was wondering whether its possible to get you on board for this project to advise us and our team on how we could make a successful product that would help under privileged students learn better.
Hi Deepani, please send us an email at contact@newedtechclassroom.com
Finnaaalllllyyyyy... someone giving useful tips and not just a information dump
Glad you found it helpful Annabelle!
How are these apps received by students? Do they fatigue from playing them and the wide variety of them over time? For example, if you play Blooket in math class, then Gimkit in Spanish then do a Kahoot in history in the same week do they get repetitive? Also, is it hard for the students to keep all the games straight?
What extension did you use to draw on your screen? btw nice video 👍
Annotate.net!
@@NewEdTechClassroom Thx! 😊
I want to ask you something "out of topic": I saw a vid of yours talking about Forms to PDF/word. Do you remember what video was? Btw, nice vid on gamify learning.
Thanks! I think you're probably referring to my video about Google extensions, and referring to Small PDF. Here's the direct link: th-cam.com/video/JlwiJLODKhk/w-d-xo.html
Hi- want to know how to use pinwheel random selector tool- for playing games with students using various subjects

Some programs have a time limit. Does the free version have a time limit? I thought it said 15 minutes??? Am I misreading it?
Which specific programs are you referring to?
I am looking for a simple way to let students look at a card with a drawing and choosing between two options......... in order to learn vocabulary. what tool can help me do that?
Not sure of a simple way of having them pick between two options but you can make regular flash cards with a variety of apps (like Quizlet) to practice vocabulary in a variety of ways.
Hi Sam,
Hello
what is up with the music?
What music?
FYI: Flocabulary is NOT free!
Yeah, several of the apps I show here aren't free.
Prodigy has microtransactions and children don't know so don't use prodigy
