They've been crucial when I've played at times. Reviving people when we've finally gained initiative on a breakthrough on point and helped keep the numbers up instead of having dudes respawn off point and risk getting killed on their way back. I think played right they're very useful. The other hand though they take up a slot for another role. Definitely not advantageous to have one in every squad
@@StayRadDontDie11B Medic is just a bad idea in general. You can't drag bodies or get them away from where they died, so you're putting yourself in the same line of fire that your teammate died in, except you have exponentially less combative ability. Teammates die more often than not closer to your spawns than enemy spawns, so the "smoke and rez" tactic is harmful because you're smoking out your teammates, which allows the enemy to walk up for free.
Medics are just wasting everyones time. The medic itself is borderline useless in combat especially since his smokes often help the enemy. As long as the medic is close by people refuse to give up and just respawn where it is most necessary with a useful class and full ammo. So you end up with 5 dead laying around waiting for a medic that will likely die anyway instead of just redeploying and being useful for the team. If there was no medic you would have 6 players focusing on fighting and even if all of them die they would all be back in about 20 seconds on average. Especially in comp play where you have plenty of spawns to choose from.
That shot wityh at and destroying Garry nice one. Damn u the best one
The rocket garrison snipe 1:22:49
1:28:07 hard fought match well done man
It's a common strategy have a lot of squad and jump trough them? I mean it's the way to play instread of have a full locked squad?
yes squad hopping and multiple squad leaders is the gold standard for HLL comp play
Are there medics in tournament matches??
Almost useless on hell let loose
obviously not since you are hurting your own team by playing medic passively and actively
