So if you’re rank ten and get the first map, you can go to your internet settings and set your mtu to 800 go to solo lobby this way, if you go to black water and stand on the hill over looking the city and set your camp to heartlands it’ll pop up right next to flat neck, go to the tree that has the big rocks and farm maps, if it isn’t there when you load on first time, close app open and spawn at camp go back to tree until the map shows up, after that grab it wait til you see name if not Isabella close app spawn back at camp and repeat, got mine after 9 tries
You can also use the mtu lobby to farm pig fat 5 at a time at flat neck station, if you kill the pigs with a good enough shot you’ll get perfect pelts and you can run back to camp and donate them to cripps
It’s either with the person or on a tree with a lantern I did it my first time and was losing my mind cuz the lady didn’t spawn but then I saw a tree with a lantern and the map was right there with a knife in it
I haven't done it yet but maybe make sure that you don't just hold y then immediately close the app. He waited for it to pop up as it interning his inventory then that very second quit the app. Try to get ALL the timing as he did. Haven't tried yet but as I was watching I was wondering how strict the timing for obtaining the map and quiting the game had to be.

Waiting too long afterwards will give you a 72 hr cooldown, it's not frame perfect, as long as you don't longer than a second or two that's fine.

From my experience as long as you have a map in your satchel to begin with you can use the method I just stated

Even when I’m in a solo lobby I can’t find a map or stranger
It was working for me before but when I just tried it today it just stopped
If you see a light on the ground in the vicinity of the markers then there’s a map, if not, go to the next spot.

The other way to tell if there is a treasure map 🗺️ at the location is there will be a campfire 🔥 lit by the tree

Nothing showed up on the tree
I'm doing this but when I close my game I dont get the map its happened 2 times in a row I'll pick it up and it'll not stay in my inventory

You know for the glitch how many tries do you have to get this map to fully bash the glitch in lake Isabella

For people who dont know you dont need to close the game doesent realy matter if you got a treseur map just finde a new Session

How do you know you got a cooldown?
If u try in a solo Session and u dont See IT 2 Times means u have to stay 48h playing online that IT will spawn again.
The cooldown only counts when u Play online.
