We are a witches family - we decorate with witches, even my 84 year old mother, daughter and grand daughter - we all dress up as witches. In my daughter's neighborhood they close up all the streets to cars and everybody dresses up, even those who stay to give out candy. Her neighbors set up haunted houses, project scary movies on their walls, and set up photo booths on their front lawns! This year may be different - but I'm sure her neighbors will still go out. I'm into witches and have been for a few yrs. Last yr I had an altar with potion bottles and spell book (I DIY'd all of it) I had painted baby doll parts hanging from the ceiling of my porch. In my yard I made a circle of ghosts that lit up on one side of yard and on other side I had a diy cemetery and a witch standing over a cauldron stirring. I had 2 cages hanging with skeletons in them. It was awesome. Lots of people would slow down or pull over to check it out.
I like the spider web and giant spider and the kiddos response was perfect. I think moving the smaller spiders and having them crawl up the pillar towards the web would really be a great effect. The floating witch’s hats are so whimsical. TYFS stay safe and healthy everyone ❤️
I just came across your video and can't wait to check out your channel. The porch looks fabulous! It's cohesive, classy yet hauntingly festive. As a Halloween baby, our property is very nicely decorated. I choose to stay with a supernatural theme and not include gory images. The little details, such as the skeleton hand coming out of the cauldron, add so much realism to the decor. My front porch is typically decorated with bats hanging from the portico ceiling, a four-tiered garland with metal jack-o-lanterns, and a very frightening witch wreath greeting visitors. My husband is setting up Skelly this year for the very first time. I love how your Skelly is leaning on a massive urn. You may want to consider having a few sinister creatures coming out of the urn and on its sides.
This year I will be using animal skeletons...lights, and orange ribbons! We live out in the Arizona desert. I like the spider web, and I am sure your kids did too. Your yard is awesome!

I would leave the spider web. I change up our porch theme about every 2 years (have done super creepy, climbing skeletons and lastly witches). I LOVE the giant skeleton! That is he coolest. You did a wonderful job.

I can't wait to see more of your videos but I picked up so many neat ideas from you and I love the spider web that almost is my favorite! But of course you're super giant skeleton was the most amazing thing I have ever seen! And I totally loved your house I used to be very much into Victorian and I moved out of state after my husband passed and we had built a farmhouse style home which is how I decorate now but my heart still belongs to the Victorian era. Your house is just beautiful and I've only seen this one video so far! Can't wait to see more. I like to make a scare crow....old pair of men’s jeans stuff with newspaper and piles of hay coming out of the bottom of the legs....and old flannel shirt...stuffed also with newspapers and hhay coming out of the ends of the sleeves with a pumpkin head with hay coming out of the neck...last but not least a straw hat....and there he sits on the bench with his leg crossed waiting for all to see him....your house looks beautiful...great job....and ssscccaaarrryyyyy....for all to enjoy

I love the giant spiderweb! I actually do the same motif on my front porch and my giant spiderweb is the focal point! I add the white pain in the butt pull apart webbing and it tones it down some and makes it more realistic! Try that and you might like it better
On your entry way decorate you asked about smoke machines. I got a fog machine at Walmart when my grands were small. It made lots of smoky fog. When trick or treated came & we opened the door, all the fog rolled out the door & the kids loved it. It was about $20 & they have refills.

Last year my daughter and I did the witches hat and we hung them on the porch but we added the little tea lights that blink and made it even better.
