Thanks man, I don't tried to play this song as clean as possible, but I promise that when I play smoother songs like jazz or old funk, I always try use my finger as academic as possible ^^
@cursedswordsman really, i've been studying music for 11 years, and even having huge knowledges about theory and harmony it's NOT easy, at all. Apart from that, i have to say i've never heard a killer tone like this. it's truly amazing.
I've played the electric bass for 15 yrs and upright for 3 yrs. Its almost completely different. The upright needs proper instruction or you can get seriously injured as it is a physically demanding instrument. But its a great instrument once you learn. The funny thing is after playing the upright I found that the frets on the electric bass was really a hindrance Great job playing. I've been following your videos for over 2 years and have seen a huge improvement in your style and confidence

Hehe, just bought a HS Stingray. Comparing that to my Fender J-Bass AM Standard it's a much more funky bass. The J-Bass is better in jazz and smooth playing, but when I comes to slapping the Stingray makes you alot better, just because of the sound and how smooth it's to play.

Side note- I'm 17. I've been shut down b4, but I also know how aggravating and yet somehow relieving it is to figure out something after the fact. It's aggravating because you wish you had learned it before, but relieving because now you can use it to your advantage. It's all about preference in the end, but I only put these comments up in the hopes that it will help, it's never meant to be degrading or negative etc.
