    absolutely stupid to say we want to export our talent to the WEST, even today. Why can't we build our own companies, owning our own patents, like China has done. Right now , the WEST acts like a Rent collector.

    • @SV-wu2my
      @SV-wu2my หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      The same talent is in key places in the West. It is an evolving subject. If you say we got independence in 1947, I would say it was just partial, as a legacy of colonialism was left, and the dynasty took over. It just started in 1991, when the dynasty collapsed partially. In 33 years, India has come a long way. America took 200 years plus to go into some shape. European hegemony continues even today as they consider Europe's problem the world's problem and the world's problem, not Europe's. You cannot change the world order overnight. Compared to China is unfair. China followed a model that can bulldoze to get to what the leader there wants. India being a democracy, is a bit difficult, and every 5 years things may change with lots of pull and push. It will not be automatic. China started everything in 50s when their single leader took a different view of getting things done. India had a leader, whose view was totally different.

    • @SRINATHKADIAM-o6f
      @SRINATHKADIAM-o6f หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Not everyone can get patents and build companies. Kerala gets huge remittances from the Gulf largely from its Healthcare Workforce. India is planning to take advantage of the European and other demographics getting older with no proper care available. Lakhs of nurses and thousands of doctors are being trained, some of whom might be willing to serve the people abroad. This is the idea behind creating one medical college per district. China exported products, we are planning to export people.

    • @Janani_Kannan
      @Janani_Kannan หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes and no. The kind of soft power we get to exert by exporting people is pretty valueable, especially considering the changing world order today. India benefits immensely by placing its citizens abroad. The amount of foreign repartriations, inter cultural exchange, diplomatic opportunities etc. add great value to India's global position.

    India and China are both Civilizational states that have been neighbours for over 4,000 years but have never fought (except in 1962). It is much easier for India to befriend China than the West. Especially now that the Communist Party of China does Capitalism better than America. Today, 13 of the top 15 STEM universities are Chinese, and in technology, China has also started beating America in many fields.

    Sounds nice. But as per Per Capita income, USA ranks 6th and India ranks 137th ( IMF 2024 estimates). Sri Lanka ranks 130th. Gabon 90th. Do have a sense of proportion. This is not the time for us to get into power politics, but to consolidate and rise up slowly

    Me thinks, that the Quad countries and the 4/5 eyes, seriously want the republic of India, to join up with the China, Russia and the Islamic Republic of Iran combine.
    1) India's formidable English language educated STEM talent, software capabilities and space research power,
    2) China's colossal manufacturing prowess,
    3) Russia's boundless bounty of raw material wealth and,
    4) Iran's raging angst against the decadent west,
    ...could if rolled into one, become a mouthful for the west to handle. If it at all, happens, one can rest assured, that the "four / five eyes" will soon become "black eyed" or even "one eyed" inside a decade.
    Hope the US and other "eyes", think about it...😅 Here's a jingle to go with the thought 💭
    "From the Straits of Hormuz..
    To the South China Sea""...
    "It's something...
    The West would never see!!"
