- The Komatsu WA320 gave us all she had. Time to replace a bad transmission before the snow falls. Sit back and enjoy what it takes to replace a trans in one of these big girls.
As always thank you for watching @kirkallen1246

Awsome vid. How many hours were on the transmission when it $h!t the bed?
Thanks for watching! The machine had about 12,000 hours when it started going bad. After the rebuild it's been running strong.
Thanks for the info! Im looking at some and wondering, durability of that style trans. Cool to see them apart too. Thanks again !
Hi Bro How to Speed change of this mechine any diagram please.
there is a knob on the right control panel that says 1,2,3,4 it will always start in 1st and work it's way up. Hope that helps, Good Luck!
Could've been a way better video! We're not interested in overly loud background music, and redundant comments brother! The tear down segment was really cool! We all want to know what were the initial symptoms, what may have caused the problem, and finally, what was the total end cost? Lost opportunity to make your journey helpful to other guys.
Sorry you didn't like the video. I'll keep those points in mind for the next one. Thanks
Tengo una pala 450-5L no camina que puede ser
If the loader is similar to the 320 and isn't moving at all and the hydraulics don't work It may be the plastic gear that bolts to the flywheel and goes and slides over a metal gear when the motor and hydraulic pump are assembled together. I just replaced one in the field and it calls for the cab to be removed. However I did not remove the cab, I removed the finders and side panels as well as the hydraulic tank and hood. I removed all the bolts that join the motor and hydraulic pump and replaced 6 of them with longer 8in bolts to allow me to side the pump back far enough to replace the gears. Tough job first time around for sure. I used a 5 foot bar and a 4 ton portable power kit to side the pump back. It will take you 3 to 4 days if it's your first time but realistically you're looking at 16 to 20 hours of billable time.
make sure brake is off. make sure joy stick and column are both in neutral and only use one or the other.
