Initially when I offer them to her, I wiggle them around in a pair of long tongs, and the snake bites them as she would in the wild. So venom will be injected as per normal. Then I can just leave the already dead mice laying there and she will think that she killed them. But she will also eat them if I just placed them dead and didn't introduce them to her for a bite.

I certainly could do with more subscribers and more views. Let's hope I get there 👍🏻👌🏻
This particular Black Mamba has been in my care for some time, so it definitely has had the time to get to realize that I am not a threat to it. They are pretty intelligent and get to realize this fairly quickly.
The Green Mamba did lay her eggs and they are due to hatch probably in about 5 or 6 weeks time.
I'll hopefully get a nice time-lapse video of the event.
Thanks for your support once again 🙏🏻🙏🏻
My one batch of Green Mamba eggs are busy hatching 😍😁👍🏻👌🏻
@@jasonarnold-snakeman Awesome. Thank you for the notification. I hope there will be a video of the baby Mambas soon.
I'm thinking about that mesh fence.... LOL. How does she feel that she is not the one who killed the mice?
Haha. It's pretty secure, if that's what you're wondering. 👍🏻👍🏻
They have no problem eating dead food, as long as the food item is fresh.
It is illegal here in South Africa to feed live food items to snakes.
@@jasonarnold-snakeman Wow, now that's one I didn't know! Do you mean wild snakes you can't feed live prey to, or your own say pet snakes? That's really interesting.
She is huge!
She sure is 😊👍🏻
Really cool!
Thank you 😁👍🏻
Beautiful Mambas. Make sure to like the video and subscribe
Thank you very much 🙏🏻👍🏻💪🏻
@@jasonarnold-snakeman I am sharing your videos sir. I hope you keep up the good work. Lots of respect from east USA
I really appreciate that. Thank you very much 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I've actually started to think FOR THE FIRST TIME in 70 years that snakes are quite cute .... doesn't mean I want one near me 😁
Glad to have been able to show you their soft side. The side that people generally don't care to notice.
🙏🏻👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻
Those venom glands are huuuuge.
Sure are. And they don't need to be 🙈🙈
Jason why dos she not "kill" the mice first since she is still a wild one, i am confused here :D
Again thank you so much for making all these videos for us
The law forbids us to feed live mammals to snakes. So we buy them pre-killed and frozen.
@@jasonarnold-snakeman yes i know but what about the Mambas killer instinct to first bit it's prey and then wait until the prey is dead, and then eat it :D
The mouse/rat can still be wiggled a bit to make the snake think it's alive and bite it, which I usually do.
