A couple tips. Try to hinge the sod... cut around like you do but leave a part of one side intact... fold over. It'll help the rest take root quicker once back on top. It will green back up quick and avoid ugly brown spots all over the lawns. Also carry a small piece of plastic sheet or like one of those plastic cutting boards. Put the dirt you pull out on that so once done you just pick that up, dump it all back in the hole, flip the top back and it's perfect just about every time. Especially good when doing houses so no one thinks it makes their lawn look awful. Great job on the video!
@@TheModerateNewb It does help. Problem is carrying water... water is pretty heavy lugging it around all day. But if near your vehicle, etc., then yes, it would help. 🙂

Pennies and trash. Sounds about right. That's mostly what I find with my ACE 300 too. Refreshing to see a guy who doesn't just go around dropping silver coins in the hole every time he turns on the camera lol. Most detectors won’t unless it’s some pretty rare large free gold. We have a $7K mine lab fine gold detector at our mine for the rock hound cats and it doesn’t pick up what’s in our ore, but free gold in quartz typically occurs as a powder or sand grand size at .5-1 ounce per ton as high grade.

On your ace 300 you can remove the signal your getting for the aluminum or trash your getting with the button that has a check mark and x on it, this will stop you picking up that particular signal and you can sweep for your ring without getting side tracked, once you sweep the trash hit that button to remove it and continue

the coil cover is for protecting the coil whie in use
It's Submersible.
The center hole in the cover matches the shape of the center void in the coil.

Ususally trash gives terrible signals, notice how when he dug up the foil the signal went from 30 to 70. That means it’s trash
