Yes, sir gagawa pa ako ng update sa project na yan but for mean time please change this line.
From:

To:
$conn = new PDO("mysqli:host=$servername;dbname=$dbname", $username, $password);

problem solve by change the reader (firmware bad, only works with arduino)

Hi po, currently im making daytime record system using rfid, pero yung gamit kong RFID po ay yung USB, na try ko naman sa Notepad at nadedetect at nadidisplay nya yung ID, pero di ako makakita ng mga tutorials kung paano iscan ng USB reader yung ID tapos idisplay yung Oras at isave sa Database.. sana po matulungan nyo ko. salamat po.
Hi, pwede pa patingin ng codes mo at youn out na nag connect. codes ng arduino
dapat po halimbawa ang ginamit mo na connection ay WIFI dapat kektado silang dalawa, yong rfid mo dapat naka connect sa wifi mo at yong IP address ng laptop mo or pc dapat naka lagay sa code mo.
Wala pa po akong codes eh, pero yung rfid reader ko po ay Plug and Play na sya
