VOD Squad reporting for duty - and Trap Door was awesome, the theme tune was released on 7" single - The Trap Door by Zygott. I've been trying to get hold of a copy for a while because it's fantastic and a fond memory of my childhood.
VOD Squad! Random thought, but I really think Rob should give Sekiro another go (maybe not on a stream or video) as his timing on parries is really impressive. Not to mention his historic love of stealth. Now that he has some FromSoftware experience under his belt, he may find it a bit more doable. I'd still recommend a guide though. That game is very maze-like.

Yeah it is quite great for starting class. Not only does it come with some great armor, it also comes with a bow with both fire and normal arrows. On top of that you start with the Uchikatana, a sword that deals bleed damage over time, and many many enemies early game are weak to bleed build up, even bosses.
I always saw those classes as perfect blank canvas, a knight, mage, priest, rogue or anything made from a wretch will be mathematically better than one starting as their class.
I know it's an old video. But how to ya'll play this games while dealing with life and not having a pause button. I'm so intrigued by this game but the lack of the pause button is kinda rough

53:24 you can poison those things and they will explode in a poison cloud that poisons the other ones. This will create a chain reaction.

Wretch may not be the best class, but a good smack from that bat is devastating.
