- I've modded a Mesa Boogie Lonestar Special. The whole amp is more dynamic and more open sounding after my mod, it also has a nice compression to it. The distortion is tighter and cleans up beautiful when you roll back the volume on the guitar. I've also added a volume to the drive. Guitar straight into the amp, using the onboard reverb for both channels.
Guitar: Greco EGF1000
Speaker: Celestion Gold Alnico
Mics: Golden Age R1 mkIII, Tascam DR-40

Your amp does sound great and I dig your style too. My only criticism is your description. You say the the amp is more dynamic, and has a nice compression to it, which from a sound engineering perspective is contradictory.
