Rose Liardon $10,000 Scholarship WINNER!

HELP US CONGRATULATE ROSE LIARDON on being one of our $10,000 scholarship recipients! Her creativity and hard work on her application and campaign resulted in reaching over 1,500 people and raising over $1,000 for KMF. Rose said, "There were several personal interactions I had with people as a part of my campaign journey that have impacted my passion for seat belt use. For example, I spoke with a girl named Ann Katherine in the Young Women’s Leadership Club. After I hosted a seat belt safety activity, she explained to me that my lesson actually left her inspired. Ann Katherine explained to me that when she has skipped out on wearing her seat belt in the past, she has never thought about how it could affect her loved ones. This conversation filled me with more fire to continue this campaign as spreading awareness truly does work wonders."
What's unique about our scholarships is they don't just impact the recipient...their campaigns impact and save thousands of lives in the process. What's ALSO unique, is that we award scholarships in memory of lives lost from vehicle crashes. Rose's scholarship is awarded in memory of Makayla Bonura, who lost her life after being ejected in a crash at only 16 years old. We are blessed to help Makayla's memory live on through Rose.
