Black screen is there for hiding animation transitions If you look carefully you will see a character jumping into a new animation and it is not good to watch and there is black screen to hide that,
@@Giorma. Yes I know that, but there are better ways to do that, just like the old souls games where a fog temporary appeared around you to hide the enemies respawning and etc. I think that way was more appealing.
@@Nemesis3028 Yes I agree, fog is better than black screen, and in DS there are no 2 animations like Elden ring, the character just goes there and sits but Elden ring has 2 animations for that, and that is pretty annoying ;)

Resets enemies. All the souls games cover the screen so you don’t see enemies just disappear.
@@cullumsay171 Yes, Im aware of that, its just that the fog looks more natural and fitting that a black screen
