- 14 ran today with a Canadian National 3 chime, another whistle from Dennis Garrett's collection. I brought a balloon to the park for the train's 61st birthday, and the conductors were kind enough to put it on the back of the train. Enjoy!

I have a frisco railroad screw spike
Very nice to see 14 on the tracks, is that a Canadian 3 chime?
Yes
I’m curious, how much fuel oil does the tank engines carry? Because I’m wondering if they have to refuel in the middle of the day
Enough fuel that they don’t have to. On later nights like during summer, they sometimes back down to the roundhouse to refuel.
@@TrevlynTheTrainiac very interesting to know where I come from. We have six flags over Texas and the train that takes you around the park. Historically the last original attraction from its opening season of 1961. The steam engine’s have four wheel dolly tenders, and they actually burn diesel fuel oil, and it usually takes them a whole day to go through an entire tank, and what they will do is pack the consist of three passenger cars back to the Roundhouse uncouple, run back to the station to refuel, then reverse into the round house for the night.
