Happy New Year everyone! Let’s hope 2025 is a great year 🎉 We hope you enjoyed today’s show. There won’t be a show next Monday due to the FA Cup but we will be dropping one after the mid week games 😊 And remember, the quiz is only a bit of fun , we don’t take it too seriously and it’s all banter ❤😂 (though I am gonna win by the end of the season 😝)
Why do so many people in the football world not know what the word OBLIGATION mean. Unless Chelsea finish 14th or lower. Sancho is no longer a man united player. Amorim is absolutely not in convo with Sancho. Also even if he did have an option to bring him back, Sancho doesn’t fit an Amorim system anyway he doesn’t use wingers
Sancho is effectively a permanent Chelsea player, so it doesn't matter if Amorim wants him or not. And I very much doubt Amorim would want him tbh. lol Basic bit of knowledge, guys.
Ange knows what he’s doing, complaining about the ref and saying “if it was fair…” is him distracting from the fact they suffered their 10 defeat of the season.
He's such a poor manager. I had sympathy for him but he rushed Romero and Van der ven back and they both went of injured instantly. Same with Udogie rushed back and instantly injured. Now he's just talking absolute nonsense whilst never changing tactics.
“Always struggle against Palace” Chelsea have lost 4 times vs Palace since 1993, they had won 14 straight vs them until this season. Just do the smallest amount of research before you waffle. Ben just admit you don’t like Sancho and get on with it, it’s everytime he plays you have something to say, even when he does well. Absolute nonsense.
Rarely seen the internet band together to hate on a player as much as on Trent after last game. Sure he had a poor game but he's had a great season in which especially his defensive output was very solid. It's a shame to see what social media has become...
@@saqet7546 that's your interpretation of a bad game? All footballers have them. All teams have them, Nunez is on a long bad run, we've let in more goals since Ali came back, Robbo is on a bad run of form, Curtis had a bad game, Diaz made little impact....none of those players are under the spotlight like Trent is. Enjoy your time on the band wagon.
@@whatmatters683there's a difference between having a bad game because of poor quality and a bad game because lack of effort. If you can't see that after all the times it got played over him as he just watched on expecting others to cover for him I don't know what to tell you. And he also hasn't done himself any favours with fans sending out mixed messages pulling on heartstrings every other week, people are getting fed up with it
Great show lads, some kind of graphic would be better on the screen when you guys are talking about the league table rather than just gathered round a mobile, food for thought!
that arsenal set piece isnt new, they did it against Chelsea last year. just ran enzo into the goal and they scored, it also wasn't disallowed so idk why it was dropped as id exploit it.
Great to hear some nice words but I feel our season is going to come crashing down the next month or so. Evanilson had surgery and is expected to be out at least 2 months 😢
Come on guys, by the time you are recording this you must know that Odegaard was sick and that's why he didn't start (or play well). Nwaneri was taken off because of an injury.
I love Watching Ben's take on things. His comment about United doing 1 good performance and it distracting from every other poor performance is spot on. As a united fan I'm actually upset about that result. Play well against arsenal, city , Liverpool then have a poor performance every other week. This game means nothing if we don't follow up with better performances.
Spurs were not making a play for the handball that led to the first goal, bergvall was over stretching to kick the ball due to the pressure by joelinton, there was no pass attempt it was a desperate kick.
Parts of the Anfiled crowd were giving Trent dog's abuse, it just didn't turn into a chant, that plus social media, having a bad game like all players do at some point adds up. Meanwhile other low performers don't get mentioned. We've let in more goals (per game) since Ali's return, Slot doesn't ask Mo to do any defending anymore, Ryan didn't drop in to help out either, Ibou was rusting on first game back, Man United targeted that. All that plus a low performance from Trent = a pile on.
Under the current handball rules there is no handball by Joelinton and the Gordon goal stands. If you want a different outcome change the rules. Simple.
Jamie should trick question it next time and ask the Eddie Howe question but during his playing career “What club did Eddie Howe leave Bournemouth for, in 2002 as a player”
I don't know why Amorim or anyone at ManU would be talking to Sancho about next season since Chelsea are obligated to sign him... And Tom, Pervis Estupiñan is Ecuadorian not Peruvian.
City only have an option to match any bid we accept for Delap and then he has to go back to them if they want him… so no set price for us to sell him, so will be pricey for someone in the summer that’s for sure!
I don't know why Arsenal fans are moaning. These lot make a ton of challenges on keepers that are extremely questionable. It was a clear and obvious decision to overturn. Now Spurs on the other hand, have all right to complain about the handball
I dont understand why it should be a handball on joelinton. when the rules are what they are, its just silly to make a dangerous pass so close to the player
Amorim has come in and had a game every 3 days. He’s had 3 actual training sessions prior to the week leading up to Liverpool where that number doubled to 6. This fact seems to be ignored by everyone…
Happy New Year everyone! Let’s hope 2025 is a great year 🎉

#BringBackLuke
Did you see the Brighton keeper skill on Gabi Jesus
Sancho is on loan with an OBLIGATION to buy if chelsea finish 14th or higher in the league. He is still United player in name only.
Do you expect these lot to know that. Lack of research is shoddy at the moment
Sancho is SOLD unless chelsea finish bottom half which they won't .Its part of the deal
And he sure as hell doesn't use lazy players.
Foster didnt watch that Palmer goal at all did he? Hahaha it was Sancho did that the dribbling and setup
You lads going through the rules and stipulations of the quiz is honestly top tier comedy 😂
Always good fun 😝
Sancho is effectively a permanent Chelsea player, so it doesn't matter if Amorim wants him or not. And I very much doubt Amorim would want him tbh. lol Basic bit of knowledge, guys.
“Chelsea have always struggled against palace”
Chelsea have won more points off palace then any other team lol
Think we was confusing them with city. Who always drop points to palace. 😅
Ange knows what he’s doing, complaining about the ref and saying “if it was fair…” is him distracting from the fact they suffered their 10 defeat of the season.

Sancho can't go back to united chelsea have agreed permanent deal it's a loan with obligation neither side can withdraw!

Odegard was unwell, same with Havertz and several of the players who did start. Could tell looking at them.
Flu and rotating barely healthy players. Arsenal I don't think have had more than 12 players at any training session since October.
Nwaneri picked up an injury in the first half and Ødegaard have been ill/sick so that's why he started on the bench.
Rarely seen the internet band together to hate on a player as much as on Trent after last game. Sure he had a poor game but he's had a great season in which especially his defensive output was very solid. It's a shame to see what social media has become...
It wasn‘t just a bad game, he looked like he doesn‘t want to wear the liverpool jersey anymore
@@saqet7546 that's your interpretation of a bad game? All footballers have them. Im sure the hate has come ftom the 0 points earned in FPL

odegaard was ill, hadn't trained and nwaneri got injured
How do footballers not know what an obligation to buy means 😂💀
Absolutely Awesome Quiz 👏👏👏👏💯
Love these podcasts so much lads. Keep them coming 👍
Great to hear some nice words but I feel our season is going to come crashing down the next month or so. Evanilson had surgery and is expected to be out at least 2 months 😢
Let’s hope not
@ Enis Unal, our backup striker has ruptured his ACL this morning….. could not write this…..
All opp fans of Brentford always praise Wissa and Mbeumo but really Damsgaard has by far been the best Brentford player!!!
Brill watch lads smashed it out the park as per and fantastic quiz too
Liverpool - United wasn't that good of a game, It might have been great if both teams played well, but only United did.
It really was the clichéd game of two halves. First half meh second half fantastic.
Come on guys, by the time you are recording this you must know that Odegaard was sick and that's why he didn't start (or play well). Nwaneri was taken off because of an injury.
This assist convo also works for palmer and saka, madeueke scored a grest goal vs us and plamer got the assit for doing bugger all.
Arteta said 2 days ago after the match Odegaard didn't start due to illness and Nwaneri came off with a hamstring injury and is out a few weeks
I just love these podcasts. Just awesome laidback knowledgeful guys chatting about football.
38:35 hahahaha this take from ben is horrendous, the dummy from Sancho was a proper winger move and a dying art
I love Watching Ben's take on things. His comment about United doing 1 good performance and it distracting from every other poor performance is spot on. 12:58 Apparently Madrid did it so he can say in the summer that he could've left for a fee
"Estupinan is Peruvian" - 2 guesses and a fake Google from Tom and still gets it wrong!!🤣🤣
Loving the quiz as always guys, top notch!
Spurs were not making a play for the handball that led to the first goal, bergvall was over stretching to kick the ball due to the pressure by joelinton, there was no pass attempt it was a desperate kick.
Making a play for the handball? What American nonsense is this. Bergvall clearly passes to Porro and it hits Joelinton’s hand
@ Should’ve had better control of the ball so he could make a better pass, instead he flicks the ball into the player pressuring him.
Fostiniho would be some keeper
😂😂😂
Love the shithousery on the Petrov question
😂😂😂LOVE it
"allude / to" eight times said by Watto. Sorry - Couldn't help keeping count 😂
😂😂😂😂😂

you forgot to mention the invisible donkey curtis jones
J.S will never play for utd again.
The deal with Chelsea is if they finish top 10 then they have to buy him double check with Golbridge.
On the Arsenal freekick, couldn't the defenders block the Arsenal players dipping back in, so they remain in an offside?
Jamie there were premier league games in the 90s. Too many modern questions
There's also teams outside of man u.
Under the current handball rules there is no handball by Joelinton and the Gordon goal stands. If you want a different outcome change the rules. Simple.
Makes no sense that handball -> assisting a goal = OK, but handball -> scoring a goal = BAD. You're right, though, them's the rules. lol
Jamie should trick question it next time and ask the Eddie Howe question but during his playing career
“What club did Eddie Howe leave Bournemouth for, in 2002 as a player”
Like it 😂😂
Watto has become the best thing about the FFI 💪🏽😊
We love Watto ❤️
Oh and FYI, by the actual rules, the Joelinton handball isn’t a handball. Read and know the rules of the game.
I don't know why Amorim or anyone at ManU would be talking to Sancho about next season since Chelsea are obligated to sign him... And Tom, Pervis Estupiñan is Ecuadorian not Peruvian.
Nobody at United talks about Sancho. Only some weird Sancho fanboys
obligation to buy for £25 million yeah.
@fredsflintstone3702 listen to the episode and you'll understand what I'm talking about
City only have an option to match any bid we accept for Delap and then he has to go back to them if they want him… so no set price for us to sell him, so will be pricey for someone in the summer that’s for sure!
fair play for mu but nobody talks about onana 4 saves just 1 safe less and nobody would talk about this game like everybody talking rn.
Trent to Madrid is as badly hidden as Mbappe to Madrid. Just say you're leaving dude.
My morning sorted, cheers lads! ☕️
Welcome back Watto to stop by Fozzy and Tommo!
Sancho is now a Chelsea player it’s an obligation to buy if they finish in top half table witch they are so he’s no longer a Utd player
Hard work beat quality when quality doesn't work hard
True that
Not one comment about zirke was offside… they just hate untied
Forest are joint second in the league and we are still not making the intro animation.... Thought it was getting sorted boys 👀
It was there when I looked. Red dancing tree, second set of logos, bottom right
Ohhhh they've added it. I've been watching with a keen eye for ages and missed it 😅. I retract my statement and apologise.
Tom dont you start saying “alluded” as well!!!
We should all have to have a shot every time watto says it 😂
😂😂😂😂
I don't know why Arsenal fans are moaning. These lot make a ton of challenges on keepers that are extremely questionable. It was a clear and obvious decision to overturn. Now Spurs on the other hand, have all right to complain about the handball
I miss your matchday vlogs maybe you could get a job back at Watford ?!
Lads do a little bit of research please its every week clearly didnt watch sanchos assist and hes got an obligation to buy if we finish top 14
I dont understand why it should be a handball on joelinton. when the rules are what they are, its just silly to make a dangerous pass so close to the player
Literally all you talk about with Liverpool is contracts! Getting a bit boring!
I think Tom saw Estupinan’s first name is “Pervis” and thought he was Peruvian 💀
I think you’re right
SUPER BEN FOSTER IN GOALLL
1:19:42 WHY DOES HE NOT JUST ASK FOR THE FIRST NAME!!!!
Here can we get some towels for bens armpits 😂😂😂😂
Hit the Like button to get Tom his point for winning last week!
No chance 😂
Take a shot for everytime Ben says that a team/player just needs to ‘work hard’.
Pissed as a fart mate
Naaaaaah Tom 😭
name the colombian: Estupiñan
*checks phone* “ah no he’s Peruvian”
He’s actually ecuadorian 😭💀💀💀
😂😂😂😂😂😳😳😳
Petrov gate
Bring Luke back pls!
@BEN,
Love the podcast, watch every single week,
Mate, please tell us where you do your Airmax 1 shopping, always got fire on the feet.
1:19:03. 1:19:50
17:01 No mention of the injuries…no context
Trent was the difference
I don't think Sancho is on loan??
He is on loan, with an obligation to buy provided Chelsea finish above 14th. The fee is between £20M -£25M iirc.
@cerealously9407 u can't say this is loan, almost we sold him for free
Amorim has come in and had a game every 3 days. He’s had 3 actual training sessions prior to the week leading up to Liverpool where that number doubled to 6. This fact seems to be ignored by everyone…
