These are great tips. Dollywood is quickly rising to the top of our list of favorite theme parks. We love it more everytime we visit. We highly recommend it to anyone who will listen!
Dollywood/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg are vacation destinations I have wanted to do for a long time. Every time I have mentioned doing a road trip to this area of the US my wife and kids said "you can go on your own." Unfortunately my wife and I are divorcing after 23 years together so now is a good time to go on my own. This divorce is a good opportunity to take care of some stuff on my "to do" list, Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg are high on that list along with Branson. Road trip it is! “The road goes ever on and on, down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the road has gone, and I must follow, if I can.”
Sounds like you have a plan of action! Dollywood won’t disappoint and you’ll definitely like the surround Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area for sure! Thanks for stopping by and checking out the video 😊😊😊
I keep hearing how great it is. My sister Honeymooned there 30 years ago. Now my partner and I are going for the first time and we are very excited to check out the park and all the area attractions. I imagine the Smokies are quite beauttiful at Christmas. Thanks for the tips! @@ThemeParkVisionTPV
I was watching your live stream last night and when you showed the concept art for the new Dolly experience I was literally almost doing a where is Waldo search 😂 looking for anything new since you mentioned like a what seemed like fountain at show street
We definitely recommend going two days if it’s your first time and you’re able to do so… that allows you to really slow down and experience everything from food, rides, and entertainment. There really is no way to do everything in one day without feeling rushed and a lot of the entertainment (Gazillion Bubbles, Dreamland Drive In, etc..) lasts 45 mins so they can take a good chunk of park time up.
❤❤❤ Jamie I want to go here bad. Iam the first time passenger I had not been to any amusement park in so long, The only park that I had been too was tampa bay I want to go
I've had a hard time figuring out parking for August 2023. Would like to purchase preferred parking with my little ones, but regular parking is the only option online. Should we buy a regular ticket, and then pay the additional fee upon arrival?
Have you tried checking out this link to purchase preferred parking online? store.dollywood.com/product/single/F1269005-F124-4413-8EE0-9C1D6867179A This should take you straight to the page to select your date and purchase parking for your trip dates. Let us know if you need more info you can message us on Instagram @themeparkvision or reply here and we’ll be glad to help 😊
Thanks for the tips. We'll be taking our first trip in the fall. Can you tell me, when you say to arrive early, around what time would that be considered?
It’s usually a good idea to arrive at least an hour before the posted park opening time for the day of your visit that will make sure you have plenty of time to park, ride the tram to the entrance and to make sure all your tickets are in order when the park opens.. also eat breakfast before if you typically eat breakfast since the park doesn’t serve any breakfast items
Resort guests receive first time PREFERRED parking if they don't want to ride the resort trolley, not standard. That is unless they changed it this year. I've spoken to the hot on the phone and they stated they have not changed that
Thank you for letting us know! They do not have this listed on the website but we also spoke with DreamMore and they confirmed it does include preferred parking if a guest chooses to drive to the park instead of using the trolley!

I totally agree! It’s definitely a good time!
We are very excited to be visiting from Massachusetts this summer! The whole area seems like a lot of fun.
I just send this video to myself. I have a folder to watch when I go make it to Dollywood. Thanks for doing these. LIKE 34. 👍👍👍
Awesome! Thank you for watching!

is this parks similar like sixflag?
Are there metal detectors you have to pass thur to get in?
Yes they have detectors that you walk through. But the process goes by fairly quickly as there are several ones to walk through:)

We all were! It seems suspicious they used that pic for the announcement 🤔🤔🤔
Would you recommend getting a 2 day pass as first time goers?

Thinking about a fall trip

What about dog accommodations?
Dollywood offers Doggywood for dog owners! We are planning a future video to cover those options and pricing! Stay tuned 😊

Pay the 40 dollars for preferred parking, you will be glad you did when you leave the park.
Eat all you want, you will burn it off hiking those hills.
