Hi.. Am going to Australia for my higher studies.. And am leaving shortly... But I do follow your channel coz your videos are amazing! But this video was on another level!! Hats off! Superb video! I have a total of 8.8 years experience in india.. I was in IT industry for 3.9 years and as manager in nationalized bank for 4.9 years. I am from Tamil Nadu.. Don't know if u know this but there is 69% reservation in Tamil Nadu. Which means that- I got 93% in my 12th. But still.. All the state government colleges were closed to me and my classmate with 70% got admission in a top notch state government college.. But I still did my b.tech from a very good autonomous university. I got into a top IT firm through campus placements. I always wanted to study abroad or do upsc and become ias. I quit and prepared for civil services. Even though I cleared prelims twice, couldn't clear mains. Became asst manager in a nationalized bank after clearing ibps exams. Again.. Being a general category applicant.. Had to work my ass off... Joined bank. And here.. After 4 years of service.. They announce promotions. For 300 vacancies.. 5000 people are appearing for promotion exams. Of which 100 seats are for 'interview channel' which means those people who do absolutely nothing for years.. Sit in the same spot doing nothing.. And then.. Just because they have more experience.. They are called in only for interview.. No exams.. Balance 200... In that.. Reservation - 102 seats.. So.. 98 vacancies. 5000 applicants.. Am getting 82%.. And I don't get promotion.. But there is this person who gets just 58%.. And she/he gets it.. Is that fair?
It's not just reservation.. Being a woman too is a huge challenge especially if u r in a government job like bank.. For promotions.. They take into account all your leaves.. So most women on maternity leave / sabbatical are not even eligible to apply for promotion.. Why do u think there are so few women executives in bank.. Career women- absolutely not worth being here if we want to achieve something...
This is very unfortunate to hear Matangi. I wish you all the best for your future in Australia. The country indeed has a lot many things to change if they want the deserving candidates to stay back home and work for their own country. The laws have to be reformed again which I don't see happening at all.
Bharat in Germany! True. I am not sure if this is the appropriate forum to say this.. But I don't see this topic being discussed anywhere else. As a banker and as a civil service aspirant too, I used to believe that we need to be part of the system to bring forth a change. But even as part of a system, the system is not open to your views. That was a very harsh reality.
Matangi Mawley so true.. i spent sometime in IIM, niper etc. But in India always got underpaid. After coming to Germany my career got a boost and I achieved even better than Germans. I am proud of my decision

Bharat in Germany! These reserved category ppl hv been given too much n this has made them freeloaders who r ready to play any game to maintain this privilege. They r least bothered about the country or others from their own community who r not financially sound. There can be no justification for availing reservations for those who hv benefited from it in previous generation n r now well off. They can even make an alliance with anti nationals if this benefit is guaranteed to them. Now, their greed is increasing even more... These underseved ppl want reservations even in promotion in group A services. Day is not far when they will dream of reservation in private sector as well. N considering the dirty games of politicians, u never know till when this will continue. Misuse of democracy at its best.

when i see phd and masters holders applying for railway group D then there is a problem . Biggest problem is our mindset ie " Govt job is a real job" . Rest i don't blame them as i saw my friend when was given mere 5000rs as a salary in his first job in a pharma company after btech . I always said instead of Btech govt and people should opt more in vocational courses like precision carpentry , painting . Our carpenter earns nearly 70k per month and also gives 10k salary to 3 of his assitant .

I'm MTech and still unemployed, I completed my BTech in 2011 and worked only for 3 years max, after that im jobless, there is too much competition man. Today after CCNA, CCNP certification I got offer of 10k, this is like peanuts. I'm topper of my batch and my friends who are very dull in studies are earning 3 lakhs/ month Abroad and I'm struggling here for a good job

I have managed to do my bds and leaarning deutsch now.... After engineering , I had scored 129 in IBPS and cutoff was 130 for general , for sc st it was 80 .
After so many attempts and failure I quit and now I came to Dubai and getting good salary in a private construction company.

Wait a second.... bro let me tell you... as you said that 50% of all the seats are reserved for the sc,st or backward castes then the thing that you dont know is that the rest are for general category..... one thing that you should know is that obc are 41%, sc are 16.6% and st are8.6% of the total population .... And now general catagory also have reservation and the percentage of the reservation for the backward caste is far more less than general category......and the population of backward people is way more than general people.....so if you think that people belonging to the backward castes just have all the fun then you are absurdly wrong. The thing is that they do also have to Compete with the people belonging to the same category and there the competion is tougher than you actually think.... It is just a stereotype that is inherited to millennium generation also. Though i am from generation z but i think that people from my generation dont brag about these kinda things anymore...everyone knows the reality...these kinda things just give rise to the practise of casteism in india... Everybody got a reservation even after that people complain this is called ill mentality and the conservative thinking...as you mentioned about millennial gen they are the only ones who talk about this bullshit... India is a democratic country and things are like this because there is a reason behind it. Reservation is a curse that was introduced by VP Singh supported by other parties. But it should have been time bound. Lot of backward families now do have better living. I did not get Law seat in Kurukshetra University back in 1996-97 due to reservation despite having 92nd rank out of 400 odd applicants for 150 odd seats. despite that I did ok and managed to do my bachelors and move up in the world. Travelled and worked abroad. I speak German fluently!!! I lost my job back in 2008 due to recession when I was working as a Finance Manager at the age of 30 and I am still unemployed despite having decent qualification. For some jobs I am overqualified or simply too old. I dont have enough qualification to be a FM in India but in a foreign country I was a FM! They looked at my ability and experience not my qualification!. I would love to work in Germany since I speak German fluently I have advantage but only problem is Germany needs more from Technical field and not from other fields. :-(

Hi, can some one help me or advice me.
I got admission offer leter from fachhochschule des mittelstands (FHM) (berlin) for Msc in International Transfer Technology. I Think this is a Private university. So please tell me should i apply for visa for this university and course. I heard somwhere that in private universities the visa is not sure and quite difficult.
I also applied in some goverment universities but didn’t get any responce.

The facts that you have stated is quite evident in North India. I stay in Bangalore and things are quite quiet comparatively. But your opinion on reservation is absolutely right. I'm planning to study in Bochum next year due to some of the reasons that you've mentioned....especially quality of life and education.
