trust me the casino does not care about people winning. They know they have the edge and in the long run they come out on top. That’s how gambling works and every gambler knows this. That’s why Mr. Handpay always says to never gamble more then you can afford to lose. He knows the stakes and knows what he gets himself into.
Great job on the new bet-by-bet tracker, which helped support my guess ahead of my analysis that you could not walk away with that kind of profit without winning more bets than you lost (a rare treat at any house game). Turned out that you were five and a half wins ahead by the end of the session, and five of them fell your way after the final shuffle. All this action might be great entertainment, but it is a mathematical fact that random betting cannot win against negative expectation without blind luck or advantage play, and which of those you rely on is your business. In this session, negative expectation did not apply. As always, thanks for the info, Jason.

Its clearly the casino thats putting 3decks of cards and if you loose at start, youre gonna win at the end. Thats how he raising bets and playing 7500$ for a hand at end and clearly counting cards!! Handpick guy is genius

When the count was +8 after the first few hands of shoe #4 (right after you asked to lower the music). I was screaming for you to double it up. Don't even need to count cards to see that long of a run of low cards as a good signal. I doubt the pit boss would bat an eye at even a considerable sizing after that lay down...

When you go back to Vegas, Mandalay Bay has amazing double deck action in their high limit room and they stay on soft 17. Also, it probably doesn't matter for you but most of the time the minimum is 100 which is great for a double deck with those rules.

It’s funny I go to this casino a lot and the rules for double deck change depending on the dealer and pit boss. Some refuse to show you the burn others show it every time. Also playing 3 hands sometimes can be done at 50$ all three other dealers say 100$ for three.

Wow, what a run! ...you know what time it is.
1:21 - you and your standing on 12v3s...well, it paid off this time for a $2,000 swing.
3:43 - and your crazy doubles! You would have won anyway, but +$2,500 extra here.
14:57 - wouldn't have blamed you if you stood on a 3 card 16 with a 5 already in your hand but hitting ended up working! Can't even call that a deviation...kinda?
18:35 - crazy doubles AGAIN working out for you. + an extra $1,500 here.
22:32 - ...and this is where the deviation ended up killing you. You hit the 12v3 here, you steal the 2, dealer goes 16 and out. Turns a 1 win 3 loss for a net of -2 into a 4 unit win, a -$3k into a +$6k, a -$9,000 swing.
So all in all, your differences were about a $3,000 negative but on a +$30k session not much to sweat. If I ever get myself out of the hole and come into a crapload of money, I've got to play with you someday.
