People said this game or that game was the "WoW killer" and I have been saying since 2009 that it would be Blizz-a-vision that brought WoW to it's knees. Honestly? I really hate that I was right. =/ I grew up on Blizzard games (literally from WC1 on, & my Gram was a huge gamer and I used to fall asleep to Diablo noises every night 'cause she lived with us), and it's heart breaking to know what went on behind the scenes and all the terrible things that went on behind the games I loved so much.

I started on Cataclysm and loved it. I have to admit that the following updated really seemed to ruin the ambiance though. I guess that's just because we don't like changes.. However, I truly miss those times when I was discovering the game, kind peoole helping me and giving me gold, explaining the game and all the differences... Then going deeper in the game, and reaching it to new players. There was just an amazing ambiance. We will never get that again. I miss it. But it was amazing while it was there, and we should be grateful we lived it!
Wrath was the beginning of the end my guy, Acti bought Blizz, they added LFD, they took out the RPG aspects of the game, made heirlooms to expedite the leveling to clear out the old world and make it emptier. But k cool suck that LK dick even tho that xpac was horrible.

But by becomming easy it also became boring for us, the lack of challenge made old players go away, and new players still did not came, so in pandaria they had to make the game even easier to bring anyone to play it.

People often mishear this and it may be intentional, I'll explain. The background vocals at this point are "Deathwing had his time alone." We hear the "s" in "his" at the same time as the "W" in Warcraft, also the "t" in "time" is heard too. So it sounds like "StarCraft."
I used to listen to this non-stop. And I do mean non-stop. I love absolutely everything. The lyrics, the voices, the jokes, and especially how well the video was put together. This is the first time I've listened in over two years and I'm torn to see it with only a million views. Nothing to sneeze at, true, but it's just so amazing

Those were the expansions I played the most and I loved them even with the faults. I did come back to Shadowlands and while it's fun it's just not the same as the old stuff.

I am not gonna jump on the hype train and go all CHOO CHOO! But! Legion actually does look promising. It looks like a good combo of TBC and WoTLK themed zones and instances. The new class is going to bring more people into leveling and playing and I truly do believe that Legion has a very slight slight chance of bringing WoW back to life. And no matter what the haters say; WoW is just one of those games that will never die. Tons of people still play games even though they have been out for centuries. If you love a game you play it. I wanna bet 10000$ that people will still play games like Skyrim for the next 10 years. Because they love it. And just like that, people will still play WoW, no matter how many times it has to "die".

Wrath was the last Wow expansion I played seriously. Feels like only yesterday but I guess for me the coming of Cata really was the end of the world... of warcraft.

I'ts not depression, it's called Nostalgia, and it's an amazing feeling even if it cause pain. I played Wow for just 4 months in my life. But I still have those feelings toward it. And those songs make me dream and make my heart swing.
If only they knew that this Xpac was truly the beginning of the end for warcraft. The game is dead. The magic is gone. Trade chat is empty :(
