superb sir
Great video, thank you very much! I want to ask whether u know the difference between insight and R.I.R when doing lighting analysis? Because I want to chose a tool to analize lighing and energy consumption.
Great video, thank you very much. I have a question. Is there a way to extract the illuminance point values for each room in a table format?
Hello, i talk about this in 3:54 there is a setting that will save you csv file which you can then open in excel
Thank you for the quick response. Yes, I tried that option, but the result is data that we can find in the Insight Schedule. What interests me is whether the illuminance values at each point in the room shown in the 15:30 video can be displayed in a tabular form. @@eMexperience
Hello @@sanjadubljevic7235 yes, as i said before you should get a csv points file that you can open in excel. Or do you mean directly inside of Revit ?
For some reason when I create the InsightLighting view, my walls disappear, and are not even hidenin magenta, nor un-cheked in the visibility and graphics. Any idea what could be going on ?
Hmmm do you use worksets, phasing or design options?
The schedules are not being generated in my revit 2024 version. I am unable to view them. Kindly help, where can I check those? I was not facing this issue with the previous versions of revit
Hello, i think this is too general question for me to try to help you. Can you contact me via email with more detailed information?
@@eMexperience Thank you for responding, the issue got solved. The schedules were being generated but under a category called 'none' within the project browser.
Does it take shadows from other walls/building infront of the window in the 3dmodel into calculation when analysing the daylight factor,
According to my experiments yes, it does take into account walls and other elements in the 3D model
For some reason it is only calculating part of the first floor of my project, its only showing for a few rooms
well, without any files or pictures it is hard to help
How do you claculate glare?
Hello, there are 7 different types of analysis you can choose from, if it is not listed there, i am afraid it is not possible. I was interested in my work only in the daylight factor, i was not trying different types of analysis.
Where can i download the plugin?
Hello i talk about this right at the beginning of the video :)
