How is she still powerhouse? Karisma has not done any movies since mid 2000s, except “Dangerous Ishq” from 2012, which was a major flop. The only way she is present is by showing up in every party she gets invited to. No actual work in movies. Finally a return to acting in a web series recently.

In my opinion, only mistake she did was to get into relationship with Sanjay Kapoor very early after her break up with Abhishek. Her mother was insecure, since babita raised karisma and Kareena as single parent so somhow she must be insecure whatever has happened with her, it shouldn't repeat with Karishma. Moreover those days, Abhishek didn't give any hit film and amitabh Bachchan was also trying to reestablish himself from his failed political and production house. It's all about destiny, insecurity, money and life settlement which landed Karishma's life as single parent like her mother. On the contrary, kareena played smart enough to deal with professional and personal life by learning mistakes of Karishma.

Well, karishma Kapoor couldn't complete her schooling because babita was not financially that strong and separated from randhir. Can you imagine the scenario of poor teenager.
Kapoor family was always against of their girls to work in films. She was the first one who went against all odds of her family. She never got any kind of support from Kapoor khandaan like kareena and ranbir got.
Lack of appreciation, whereas raveena, juhi, kajol all were critically acclaimed actors, Kapoor & her hardwork went unnoticed till raja Hindustani.
There are much more behind the curtains which we don't know. These things were admitted on Simi grewal show by kareena Kapoor and she literally cried behind curtains in her childhood.
