Alot of videos nowadays are uploaded and reuploades and downloaded from TH-cam and all sorts of crap. Anytime that happens, video files get compressed and decompressed which damages the overall quality everytime it happens. I'm sure the original video was quite clear. Its possible that the video given to the public had already been downloaded and emailed a hundred times over before it even hit the public.
