It's crazy how i can see the icelandic's landscapes just by listening Solstafir songs.
Transcending, love it, brings lot of memories..
Love you so much 😍 thank you for this great song
Merci pour le partager ❤
The part that starts at 5:14 is the most gorgeous moment on the album.
For me it is one of five best musical themes ever written. Surely. These musical moments act out my vision of god or absolutes. There are few other moments on the album that make me that kind of feeling: the final scream in Hula and the interlude in Dyrafjordur, starting at 3: 22.
True😊
I don't understand a word but I like it !
I can understand some words, i learn to speak and understand this language Icelandic (Íslenska) and have some words that are pronounced similarly or even the same as in Scottish Gaelic, even if they are spelled differently.
I really what to see Solstafir live 🤘🇮🇸🤘
Great song and amazing band. This album makes me feel cold and I love cold ❄❄❄
I like all solstafir songs, but this one is gorgeous

Ég stari a gráan steininn þinn
Þitt kalda hjarta þögnin var svo þung
Bitur renna reiðitar á ný
Þú varst eldurinn í brjosti mér
Svo frysti og frostið beit
Endir vonar upphaf sársaukans
Ég stari a gráan steininn þinn
Bitur renna reiðitar á ný
Öll þin ljotu orð bergmála
Bergmála í huga mér
Hver stund er hjartamorð þer, já mord
Undarleg var þin ást hlýja
Þú horfðir á mig þjast
Ö nú bið ég um einhvern fjandans grið
Ég strai salti í gömul sár
Bitur renna reiðitár
Hvert tár er á við einn dag
Eitruð var tryggð og tunga
Bitur renna reiðitár
Þitt hjarta kalt þögnin var svo þung
Öll þin ljotu orð bergmála
Bergmála í huga mér
Hver stund er hjartamorð þer, já mord
Undarleg var þin ást hlýja
Þú horfðir á mig þjast
Ö nú bið ég um einhvern fjandans grið
ramon gonzalez TKS Very much
I stare your gray stone
Your cold heart silence was so heavy
Bitur rush again
You were the fire in my head
So freezing and frosting grazing
The end hopes the beginning of the pain
I stare your gray stone
Bitur rush again
All of you spoke the words of the mountain
Keep in mind my mind
Every moment there is a heart attack, yes, murder
Strangely your love was warm
You looked at me
Oh now I'm asking for some damn peace
I feed salt in old wounds
Bits run a riding season
Every tear is on one day
Poison was guaranteed and tongue
Bits run a riding season
Your heart cold silence was so heavy
All of you spoke the words of the mountain
Keep in mind my mind
Every moment there is a heart attack, yes, murder
Strangely your love was warm
You looked at me
Oh now I'm asking for some damn peace
🇲🇽 Mx 🤘🏼
can anyone translate it to Eng pls? we need some icelandics for sure 😄
Does anyone know what does "Nárós" mean?
2:56 What?
Wikipedia describes Sólstafir as an Alternative Rock-Band. They are mor e of an Alternative Metal band with elements of Psychedelic Rock Elements. Sólstafirs Drums are never Rock, this drum kit is metal driven. I think Icelandic is by far the most beautiful language in Europe.
I need bands like Solstafir, somebody help me?
Entra na página deles do Metallum e vai na aba "similar artists"
You should check out Agalloch
Not sure if it is exactly what you're looking for, but I think immediately of "Agalloch", "Woods of Ypres" and "Anathema", all of which changed their sound a bit through the years, but all of them are definitely worth a look (or a listen)
far below ótta, rip sólstafir
Because that's what we do instead of making our own music that is better than everything.
