40 years later, a new generation has arrived. The Ghostbusters are back in business for a long time. The 3 Spenglers and the 1 Grooberson moved to NYC, where the Ghostbusters headquarters are. While staying there, they had a huge problem in their hands. Louis, their OG Ghostbuster, caught a ghost that had something in its pocket. It was an orb that trapped an evil phantom that had the ability to freeze things that came into contact with. Until Phoebe accidentally released the phantom during her possession. The Ghostbusters crew caught Garraka, and they win, saving the whole world.
