My parents never taught me about the basics of hygiene so I learned it mostly from TH-cam and i never realized how bad my hygiene was before. I used to only shower 1x a week while wearing the same clothes and underwear for the entire week too, but now I shower daily, change clothes and underwear daily, brush my teeth 2x a day and I have to say I feel much better and cleaner as a person and I have people like you to thank for so thank you for being the parents my real parents didnt bother being.

One thing I gotta say is, sunscreen in your skincare is the most important step. Most people will not need a toner, a gentle cleanser + moisturizer will work. Use a moisturizer with sunscreen for AM to protect your skin.

I like cerave all around. I heard Mouth was is not necessary to use. All you need is a tongue scrapper floss and leave the toothpaste with out rinsing so it protects the enamel. Also coconut oil is good when brushing.
Cerave has parabens. Awful for your skin.
@DonJuan-qn9ys Not all parabens are chemically. I've worked before in skin care for years. There are safe parabens. These days, there are other ways to keep the product from lasting longer without having to use unsafe parabens.

Yeah that’s why you need to exfoliate your skin. And remember to moisturize your skin afterward.
@ I ended up buying the native coconut and vanilla moisturizing conditioner since it doesn’t have coconut oil on it but I do cleanse and moisturize anyways

I still live with my parents and they do help me with these kinds of stuff. But I'm not sure which should I trust, youtube or the very person who raised me? I'm always arguing with her because of that and I never believe her because I feel like she's wrong because she literally says the opposite of what's told on Google. Is it face care products, shower products or anything she always argues with me and she's one of those people who hate the internet and think that everything said on Google is fake. Now I'm in this vortex of thoughts on whether I should trust my parents or watch this tutorial or buy this product and etc. Now I'm asking the civilized community of TH-cam for help because all this is causing me stress and eating all my hours of sleep. I'm also new to this kind of stuff.
