LYRICS:
To die is to live it
You brought this on yourself
Blood filled blue waters
You hear the roaring sea
To die is believing
You'll see this one yourself
Guns blazing slower
Opponent knows it's here
A latent threat below
Will we see the morning come?
Aim for the head and hold your guns
I'll save the day
And fire
Take us higher
Bring the fire
Heave the long ropes
Fire all guns
Bring this monster
To the depths of the sea
To die is to live it
Recovering beast in sea
Blood filled black waters
You hear the roaring beast
Too high of a captain
Too drunk by power's yeast
Men gazing fearful
Afraid of reckless seas
The tables turned
It comes with all its hunger
It aims to make this sea their grave
Brave men so lost at sea
Brave yet too weak for me
The water moves
It's coming back and strong
Now for its final strike, reload
The creature is on the move
Too far we are from the cove
Aim for the heart, reload your guns
I'll save the day
And fire
Take us higher
Bring the fire
Heave the long ropes
Fire all guns
Bring this monster
To the depths of the sea
Save me!
The rain, it starts
The clouds are cluttering
The night skies falling heavily
The final confrontation
Of this beast, eating worlds
The smell of blood and guns is here
The skies are blackening
Too far we are from our home
Aim for the beast and stand your ground
The reconcile
The last fight of this tale
It starts, it starts with you
Take us higher
Bring the fire
Heave the long ropes
Fire all guns
Bring this monster
To the depths of the sea
No one knows
And no one will
Know this part of the tale
Know this one
My fellow grandchild
There is something, hiding in the sea
They say that no one knows
Eight-armed and vicious
The pain, the price
The maleficent
To live a life scared
Away from waters shadow
I'll tell the tale
Deliverance
Out there on calm wind oceans
In caverns undersea
I smell, I fear
I hear the screaming still
I hear the screaming still
Lamp after lamp it swallows
I hear the screaming still
A sailor's tale of sorrow

Metal isn't dead yet. And these guys are best proof of that.
The BEST thing to happen to metal since Metallica in the early 1980’s. The NEW golden age is about to begin!!!
Metal never dies mate !
it was just asleep in the deep dark sea...waiting...dreaming.
It has never been dead. And never will die.
Yet?? It'll NEVER die!
Man, this song deserved an epic video for that chorus! :D
We need Jack Sparrow for this video 🤘🤩
I couldn't agree more!!!
Viking voyage in an angry sea
Definitely this song rocks especially when working in the rain
Indeed it does....bones_the_silencer
Fuck me backwards every song on this ep is better and better, and when i think it can't get any better than it, this song and chorus comes... Album of the year contender
You exactly name it! YES
ouf. Agreed. I am absolutely in love with them after hearing just two songs from this EP. Also, Fortitude is a damn good album.
Yeah bro this shit is crazy
The chorus is bad ass! But the double breakdown at the end is probably the most metal thing I've ever heard in my entire fucking life! Holy shit!!! Uuuaaahhggh! Love this band!
How I started this morning : watching the seasons first snow, quietly sipping coffee..
How I ended this morning :
(cut to apartment neighbors with a concerned look on their face, looking at the wall and listening to muffled singing)
TAKE US HIGHER,
BRING THE FIRE
James Hetfield: FIX ME!
Niklas Karlsson: SAVE ME!
❤
if this song isn't in the next pirates of Caribbean movie during a monster fight, I ain't watching lol
Hell yeah! Been binging on those movies a lot lately. My favorite!
Holy fuck. First song I've ever heard from this band, and absolutely not the last. This is incredible!
Wait til you listen to their whole discography. This is the future of metal 🤘
This song should be named "goosebumps everywhere"
It quite literally gave me goosebumps.
Where you from bro
@@deathisodes5149 Beirut
confirmed.
Why doesn't this have a million views?
Pirate metal which we need but don't deserved. This is how all Alestorm like should really sounds.
How come this masterpiece of a song isn't trending EVERYWHERE?! This is the definition of heresy.
We ask ourselves that same question!
We will be chanting this chorus with our fists raised until the end of time. It’s an HONOR to set sail with ORBIT CULTURE!!!
🅱️ased af name. And yeah, that chorus is infectious as FUCK. This song is a masterpiece.
Very well said brother🤘🏻
This would be epic live for sure
This might be my favorite metal band right now! This guys voice is incredible holy fucken shit!!!
BEST band on the planet!
@@thetastyriff I agree! I only heard about this band a year ago or so, every song is awesome!
This band needs to be like, Trivium levels of known
we demand you guys a music videos for this!
I second that!
as a Navy Veteran I agree. We not just want but WE NEED a video for this
Holy shit this song is stupid good. I also discovered that it is even better when at a volume which the neighbors can also enjoy this music, whether they want to or not.
The BEST way to listen it!!!
After hearing all songs. This is ALBUM OF THE YEAR. I’ll just say it only needs 5 songs, anything under is an EP. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Also Redfog was only an Ep but it was really wonderful
New album this year
This
Is
INSANE!!!
I have NEVER been left utterly SPEECHLESS by a song… until NOW. My eyes are filled with tears and my soul is filled with FEELZ!
Magnum Opus
❤️ That's right, brother!
My instant favorite also OCF brother!
I was going to say the same thing. The balance in their songs is just too good! They can take you on a journey in a song. perfectly match the lyrical emotions with the instrumental emotions, just like in rebirth and behold. So glad I found these guys a couple months ago! These guys are absolute genius!
I honestly felt that way as well. I didn’t have tears in my eyes but I had literal goosebumps. The 7 minute epic just blew the hell by.
On repeat for the past 32 hours straight and it’s only getting better! This is BEYOND a song! This is PURE MAGIC.
Got some MAJOR Assassin's Creed Black Flag vibes from the intro. Felt like I was set to sail the seas. Very aptly named song. Orbit Culture, I wish y'all nothing but the ABSOLUTE best. God bless you.
Another 12/10 work from these absolute legends. Discovered these guys shortly after Redfog came out. Thought they couldn't top Nija. The fuckers topped Nija.
They are on top of the league right now. Right there next to Metallica, Gojira, Lamb of God, Slipknot etc. Can’t wait for their live shows, metal is in a good hands at the moment and thats fucking great.
Agreed!! I couldn't help but think that this was the North of star of Nija for this album. And that solo holy shit
There really is no better band around and they never ever disappoint and they just get better and better 🤘🤘🤘
I love that powermetal-like chorus, and the orchestral parts are just the beautiful calm before the storm
Bro, it’s crazy that pic is your profile picture. I LITERALLY made a comment about how this song teleports my mind into AC IV Black Flag. Chorus was amazing and the song in general. Loved everything about it.
@@Mavvyd96 Haha that's awesome, and true! Had the pic since I preordered the game back in 2013. So many great memories just sailing around, upgrading the ship and exploring the islands. Can't say that about the last two games unfortunately.
1500+ likes and 0 dislikes. I didn't see this kind of rating ratio on any video. Never.
Edit: almost 2000 likes at the moment and still 0 dislikes. I would say that this is a song of the year! \m/
They don't miss anything. This EP is a contender for album of the year for sure, like any song they put out is just pure metal and i really hope that they bring metal forward!
Album of the year
Orbit Culture is one of my favourite bands
This band had made it to my top 5 bands of all time. After this song and Album they are now my #1.
I agree and I have been listening to metal for a while. There has been very few bands that draws me in like this. Orbit Culture are becoming legendary very quick. Scary quick.
It seems OC really did save the best song on the EP for last. INCREDIBLE. The 7 minutes just blew the hell by. EP of the year. Fucking phenomenal.
So excited for the new ep!!! So glad I discovered these guy's last month
Welcome to the family!
Enjoy the ride!
Same here \m/
New opening song for Deadliest Catch on the Discovery Channel 🤟
I have lost count of how many times I have listened to this song.
Not until today have I realized how similar the intro is to certain parts of the T2 theme.
I'm not even going to lie... I'm literally crying and laughing after that fucking ending. Bravo lads, brav-fucking-OH.
Just finished it, can't move
for real, rip neck
This song really reminds me of symphonic metal.
This song makes me wanna break into someones house and toast all their bread before sticking it back in the package.
Hahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Incredibly specific
Either from experience or this happened to someone, either way both funny and specific 😂
😂😂🤘
This song makes me wanna swap all their toilet paper rolls to pull down from the back
This EP is stupid good. Every song is a banger, but this is probably my fav so far. Well done gents \m/
Thematically, this song seems like a sequel to Odyssey. Sailors throughout the ages telling the story of the same deep sea leviathan than crushes ships and eats all that lives.
What! How is this even possible?
I follow the artist who painted this EP cover on Instagram, then I checked out the band, and now I’m a fan 😂🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 this is epic
What is the Artists name?
I need a better audio system just for this
whoever mixed this ep needs a raise and needs to mix all of the orbit albums in the future.
Niklas mixes it himself. He sings. He plays guitar. He writes the music. He writes the lyrics. He produces the the album. He is a genius.
It's been 7 hours since release. 900 likes, 0 dislikes. I think that says it all. An amazing job well done on all tracks on this EP! \m/
Update: 1500+ likes and ZERO dislikes. You can’t be a fan of heavy music and dislike this track.
@@Mavvyd96 Another update, we are sadly at 12 dislikes, though I am sure those are 12 five finger death punch fans. 3.6k likes! An excellent ratio
For the first time in forever i've seen an MV with nearly 2k likes and no dislikes
i sprained my neck on this entire ep...nuff said HORNS UP
Bruh this is like pirates of the caribbean if jack sparrow pulled up in a navy destroyer instead of the black pearl
Man, I can't wait. Going to their local release party for Shaman here in Sweden. Getting to meet the guys and a lot of OC fans. Will be lots of fun.
Have fun!
@Grisvalp Absolut.🤘
@@deliathorja442 Thank you, will do.
Chuck Billy is that you?
1:44 almost sounds like the theme u would get if miyomoto susashi fought the entire dark souls army in wits and they both were almost just as battle smart so its a crazy badass battle of tactics stratagie and would even be like a dragonball z type fight
If everyone here likes this, then go listen to a band called Feared, Synder and Vinter albums, and work your way through the newer albums to date, amazing band that hasn’t gotten enough attention nor airplay, way underrated band
Not a single thumbs down...This only should tell the greatness of this song...
Magnum Opus
Please come to Romania for a concert!!!
I have no idea how these guys did it but they seem to really re-created the heart of metal. Previous albums were shockingly awesome but now with this EP they got to the level they stand on their own. A Sailor's Tale might be best metal song recorded in last 10 years.
Thanks guys for bringing this music to us, hope yo see you live some day. Keep up the amazing stuff you do!
Although I would personally not say best in a decade but rather one of the best all year, I appreciate your sentiment. These guys will rise as true legends in metal. They’re amazing. Very few bands are held in this regard to me.
Just saw them in Des Moines last Saturday. I didn't know a single song by them heading in, left with the whole setlist on repeat. They kicked so much ass
Sick AF EP! Glad I am able to download it tomorrow. Get it on heavy rotation for my gym playlist! HAIL ORBIT CULTURE!
I've been listening to them non stop at the gym for a month now after I discovered them
@@leonkennedy3398 Every set is easier with OC getting your heart pumping. I bought their entire album set from Amazon after hearing Redfog. I was hooked from there!
Same, thats all I workout to. Orbit culture + caffeine = barbaric workout
@@trrjohnson147 oh ya tons of rage. Goes great with pre-work out
It's like someone looked at metallica and thought: this needs to be heavier...
And... oh boy, they made it heavier, so much heavier
My favorite song. Helps enjoy or cope with whatever you're going through at the moment. Can make you shout, or cry. At this moment, RIP JB!
6:46 INSANE 🔥🔥🔥
I need to hear this during a sea battle with dragons in House of Dragon season 2
Damn... Listening to this while you fight a Kraken in Sea of Thieves turns a boring fight to an epic one. Thanks!
So it begins..!
If anyone dislikes this, then you don’t know true metal! Holy shit! This is my album for a while! Thank you orbit culture for reviving metal on how it should be!
Not a fucking single bad song on their discography. What a consistency. Unbelievable...
Very Underrated!
THIS IS SO FUCKING AWESOME!!!! I shall listen to this while braving the stormy seas!!!
This. Rivers of Nihil. Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler. Boys, this last weekend of September is gonna be the best weekend of the year.
This EP is the kind of shit legends are made of. It's so goddamn spectacular.
damn right..september month seems rise of good metal album...we have torn arteries, a valediction to name a few... fuck yeah!
The cleans are like Matt heafy giving his best James Hetfield impression and the lows are that of randy blythe. It's honestly like a heavy version of every song from Triviums crusade album. I dig it.
Holy fuck, this somg especially is amazing. And this ep is fucking next level
One of the BEST metal songs EVER
@@thetastyriff for sure one of their best songs.
So fucking good
the mixing on this is out of this world
Outstanding! This is a beautiful song!
On a pirate ship with my son, fighting abyssal monsters with a black sword and a silver canon ⚔️💣
1.8k Likes, 0 Dislikes. Says it all. Band of the decade. Every song a banger!
I feel the sudden need to buy a Seattle Kraken jersey to go with the new Orbit Culture EP.
Holy Shit, this is great!! Unbelievable. I'm listening this song for hours now und can't get enough of.
THIS IS AMAZING!!
Spoken like Shaxx would.
I've already come to the conclusion that this song is one of the best closers to an album ever! What a song and what an EP! Dying to know when OC will be back in the UK!
It's beautiful!!! Masterpiece!!!
The music vid of this is a must. Viking ships fighting the cathulu and losing. Amazing
Metallica: To live is to Die!
Orbit Culture: To Die is to live it!
I heard and sawr what you did there.
The song makes me want to gather together a bunch of puppets and make myself leader over them.
Holy Christ lord all mighty!! Bangers, bangers and more bangers all over the place! Gonna need a neck replacement surgery soon..... LFGGGG!!!
Can't stop playing this part 5:44 💣
That guitar solo caught me off guard, holy shit, goosebumps throughout 🤘🏼
My boy from fb brought me here! Love from Houston TX
A fellow Texan! Orbit Culture fans UNITE!
Imagine a crowd singing along to that chorus!
We will ALL be singing this epic chorus TOGETHER until the end of time!!!
I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW FUCKING GOOD THIS SONG IS. Full body and face chills, so many times throughout the track. Really really amazing guys
Not just their best song. One of the best metal songs I’ve ever heard.
The Hans Zimmer is strong with this one-
Lol... 0 dislikes 1.1k likes. I don't think i've ever seen this before. Awesome!!!! Kick ass, orbit Culture!!!!
4.1k now!! Still not a dislike!! 🤘🤘
What a wide variety of songs on this EP. Pretty amazing breadth. Thank you guys for more music so soon.
Is this even real to make something more brainmelting? Just literally I'm in another dimension. Thank you Orbit Culture for your being on the music scene. May this masterpiece be heard by everyone! It rules
They aren't making just music
This guys are just making rituals to rise Metal from its tomb!
Great job dudes!!!
Just like Metallica in its gold times
Why are there so many Metallica comparisons? Ever listen to Testament? Fuck Metallica.
Damn, the intro gave me serious chills
Running Wild meets melodic Death Metal. This so fucking Epic
Anyone else get the chills when this first starts???
Every single time. And the chills build throughout!
@@thetastyriff makes me tear up! I feel it throughout my entire body!
EP of the year \m/ \m/
DOPE!!!!! Just Playing this on my livestream!!!!
Did I just heard a solo!!! Guys, you need to include more of those 🤘🤘🤘 keep up the awesome work. Love you guys.
At first I was like... okay, that's really good, I love it, that's how to make modern death metal awesome, it's fantastic. When I heard orchestra I was impressed how good that track is, I thought it is done. Then I discovered that there is 2 minutes of the song left... AND IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Also... they did it again... the fuckin drop Z or smth haha, they got me again.
3 days on replay, awesome
3 Weeks on replay!!! 🤘🏽😂🤘🏽
If this song was out during my days in RTC (navy boot camp) this would have given the division a serious edge during battle stations. This should be the theme song of any navy around the world. If otter culture just made one reference to the kraken i think i may cream my pants. otter culture, rock the fuck on and ive personally be addicted to the band since my first listen to "north star." Take this to heart, you are something more than just a band and music. You are something the world needs right now because of how fake and boring the current music industry is. Dont change and continue to be what youve all created that is known as otter culture.
YES to ALL of THIS!!! 💯💯💯
Yeah im crying
