Smoke is harmful to the lungs and the burning in your lungs and throat are a distraction to seeing and hearing what the Psychedelic is saying, and the pollution itself lets in the darkness that inhibits a human from discerning what the Psychedelic is truly saying. It would be much better for humans to first understand the science about Marijuana before attempting to understand the Spiritual. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a Psychedelic; there is very little, if any THC found in Marijuana flowers unless the flowers are very old. There are trichomes all over/in the Marijuana flowers which contain THC-A (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid). The THC-A must first be decarboxylated to convert it to the THC; there are 3 ways to accomplish this: 1- Heat 2- Light 3- Time Most humans opt for the intense heat of burning the Marijuana flowers in order to convert the THC-A into THC, although it seems most humans have no idea this is what is taking place. One of my friends had done DMT five times. He was all about it. Said it made him so happy. Two years ago he did it for the sixth time. I remember him calling me screaming for help. He kept saying “I’m stuck in the machine! I can’t get out! It’s like pure gravity compressing my soul and I can’t escape it and I’ve been here for an eternity!!”... this was two days after his bad trip. He was still messed up and it wasn’t going away. He went to the hospital and they couldn’t do anything. On the night of the third day after his trip, he blew his head off with his dads .308 hunting rifle. Left a note saying that he’s sorry that he ruined his brain but he had to end the nightmare. Pretty scary stuff. So that being said, be very careful with this stuff. I’ll never forget him screaming “I’m stuck in the machine!” At the top of his lungs with pure terror in his voice. I truly believe he died one of the worst deaths imaginable. Psychologically anyhow. I mean the days leading up to him ending it must have been really bad. He was never the kind of person who had depression or even anxiety.. His bad trip absolutely killed him. I don’t think DMT is necessarily dangerous, but I think the gates that it opens up can be. I feel like maybe he went too far in. I don’t know. It has haunted me ever since.
I had an experience last time I used dmt where I was convinced that I'd fried my brain permanently & I can tell you that had it not subsided I would have gladly ended my life to escape it. I thought after about 100 experiences I was familiar with it but I learned that wasn't true at all, I'll never use it or recommend it again. Some doors are better left unopened

XBloodyR I’ve only done DMT once. But I’d had x2 decent LSD tabs first. Lol. I can’t say I enjoyed the experience. The 5ish minutes that I actually let go and embraced it were sensational. I’m not sure that I fully broke through though. I saw heaps of patterns, colours and symbols(smily faces, pyramids, clocks with 1000s of fractions, all sorts of weird shit). That part was fine. But after that I spent at least 2 hours thinking I was in some sort of purgatory. I actually thought I was dead and had been for a long time but had only just realised it. It was actually quite scary. I didn’t think I was going to see my wife and kids again. It was such a relief when I started coming out of it. But it made me realise I wasn’t happy with with how I was living and if I had died I was very disappointed with the life I had led.
Not DMT but a type of mushroom. I had a super bad trip on shrooms. It felt like time was boundless. I felt like I was in prison. When i came out of it I had such a profound sense of love and appreciation for life and all it contained. It was the worst trip Ive ever had and simultaneously the best trip I've ever had.

The experience is powerful and can be terrifying, but he is talking about the super high dose range. I think i heard him say he was given 80 mg. That is a giant dose. You can have a true breakthrough at 30-40 mg. Anything over 50 mg is really overwhelming. I dont know how people can do 70-90 mg doses, its just an overload to the brain.

Basically, to guarantee you have a good trip, you have to 'let go' in a Hindu/Buddhist kind of way, meaning stop clinging to things, to everything in fact. To be of this mindset, of course, you and your life have to be 'in harmony with the universe': you have to be a mature and wise (in the Hindu/Buddhist sense) person, basically. You have to be leading a 'good', happy life, without stress or anxiety and you have to be content with the direction your life is heading. You have to know that you are part of the universe and all that that implies. Obviously, such philosophical concepts and attitudes are rare in people and take time to foster, but it is only with such an attitude that a good trip can be guaranteed. To put it in extreme terms, you have to be ready to die, to lose your 'identity' (ego death), not worry about losing who 'you' (the person you perceive yourself to be) are. For example, if you are an athletic married black Christian middle-class bank manager feminist mother of three you have to forget all of these things and be more like an animal that doesn't acknowledge such attributes of physicality, status, occupation, race, responsibility or ideology- all of this dissolves during the trip and you will be terrified and traumatized if you cling to them because you can see and feel these attributes melting away- you will be terrified that you are actually, literally dying (the trip seems 'real' in that sense) or disappearing, and your panic will exacerbate the badness of the experience (your feelings steer the DMT trip and take on their own physical and emotional form). The trip shows you primordial existence, devoid of so many of the attributes that modern life has imparted to us. You have to be like an animal in the wild that does not know it exists, that does not contemplate notions of existence, and lives in harmony with nature, with its natural surroundings. You have to be ready to surrender yourself and transform, like a caterpillar, into a different person, into a different thing, and not be afraid of losing your identity or even your body (you can and will have an out-of-body experience). Obviously, when you return to the 'real' world after the trip you will still be 'Joe Bloggs' and still have the same body, but it is the readiness to surrender your mind and body that determines the quality and 'efficacy' of the DMT trip. You have to be ready to die, happy to die, indifferent about dying, knowing that the universe (you) can never die. With such an attitude, you can and will discover a new you and a new world (it's actually the old you and the old world before modern humankind separated itself from nature). You will realize you are part of the universe, that you are the universe, that you are literally everything, that you are 'god'. You can still have a good trip if you are living a hectic life or taking it in hectic conditions, as long as you can still yourself and take yourself to a 'good place' before you inhale, but taking DMT like that runs the risk of it going south if you start worrying, hesitating or thinking about the issues in your life.

This is not necessarily true but theres definitely no point in doing this considering how infrequent its typically used. DMT is so strong it can put it you in a state of bliss instantly and so hyperaware of the experience itself, its so rapid and disorientating its hard to think about your day or your boss being a dick in many cases impossible. If its a horrible tragic day don't but bad day can be subjective.
No. I’ve done dmt when thoroughly depressed, and came back feeling much more positive. Dmt is not acid. Dmt doesn’t lead me further into my emotional state .. Dmt pulls back the veil that hangs over reality..when you see what’s revealed.. your personal shit feels pretty insignificant

The biggest difference between myself and my roommate: Me: "I love experimenting with drugs. They open up a new perspective which I get to experience. It's wonderful." Roommate: "I am too scared of the demons within myself to experiment with new perspectives." I don't know how to help someone who doesn't understand their self, is not a whole, unified experiencer. I would never force another to experiment, but shunning the whole experience because of fear is the fear of your own self getting the better of you.
We are all on a journey man, things change, I have known people that at different times in their lives did or didn't feel comfortable with tripping. As far as wanting to help him, sometimes people have to find their own way especially if y'all see it as a DIFFERENCE between you, each is going to identify with his own side so good intentions don't always end well. I know you might want a trip buddy but dont judge your roommate because you dont know what it's like to be them, how lucky you are to have that relationship with yourself where you can go into those realms confidently.

SET AND SETTING So true. First time I tried it (smoked/I think the flame was far enough away to vaporize) I was outside with a couple buddies, comfortable, prepared, and my excitement was > my anxiety. I had a great breakthrough that left my brain feeling like it was freshly "refurbished" and so happy I almost felt like I was rolling without the high. However... the second time (fat dab) was with friends in my living room. It was different though, there was some pressure to do it (from myself) because I wanted an experience like before, and the set was weird as my friend with the stuff basically came over just to blast me and a couple friends off and then peace (he had to make some plays). The anxiety in me just increased while he heated up the nail and was still very high right when it was dabbed and while I exhaled. The visuals were dark and chaotic, my body was super tense and I did everything I could to remain "conscious" and not to dive into the wormhole, and I surprisingly didnt [break though]. It was like being in front of a black hole and trying really hard not to get sucked in. Constantly feeling my physical body to stay in this reality, staring at objects very strongly (amidst the dark visual vortex in front of me) to assure they were real and actually there. And then after that 7ish minutes of this reality struggle it all came to a halt. So weird walking on the edge of that boundary. Any thoughts/similar experiences? (props for reading all this lol)
+Miles Duhamel I can agree with what this guys says about set and setting and it is very true for any powerful psychedelic IMO. I mentally and physically prepared myself for a week before doing DMT and only did it in a quiet environment with someone I trusted very much. We set a few rules out and just casually did it taking turns without letting any sort of anxiety in. I dont want to get into the details because 1. its VERY hard to describe the experience properly and 2. it would take an hour typing it all out. Regardless, it was a life changing moment for me and an extremely positive one at that....quite possibly the pinnacle of what I will ever experience in my life. People do need to understand that this is a tool and not some sort of party drug or anything of that sort.
Miles Duhamel I know exactly how you felt brother. you explained yourself really well. my first time I had my brother in the room with me and I saw the most amazing mosaic tiles swirling around. I didn't take enough to break through but really enjoyed the experience. fast forward a year later and I found myself alone one night and thought about taking dmt again. I wasn't prepared. I felt anxious on my own but thought I would still try it. I took 3 deep inhales and thought to myself straight away "oh shit what have I done !" like you I didn't look into the wormhole. I found myself just looking at the edge and all its magical shapes and colours trying to lure me into the hole. but I fought not to go in. I thought if I just focus on the edge and wait maybe the entities will realise I'm not ready yet and slow everything down to normality. luckily I came out of it. and for the record it hasn't put me off trying it again. It made me realise that mood and setting are everything. I will try it again and next time I will be prepared. well as much prepared as I can be. Yes I had that experience once, I accidentally put way more than I intended in my vap pipe & that combined with the residue of a lot of gms i'd put through that pipe & sent me far further than I intended to go at the time. I learnt to really watch what I put in the pipe as it's so strong it's really important not to just go scrape into the pipe without being accurate with measurement as I wasn't looking for the wormhole at that time. However I've never had any other problem with far more DMT when I wanted to go down the wormhole. The one thing that always gets you out of trouble is to say to yourself something like "Just go with it" & through the hole you go no worries lol
Good advice, there are many DMT Acacia trees growing where I live, as well as Psilocybe/Copelandia mushrooms in Summer. I remember years ago when I was 17 or something, I was drunk and had a high dose of a native potent Psilocybe eucalypta. I had a mental vision of me going mad in the street outside my old house where I grew up and taking on the local Police in a street battle. The scary thing was that, that actually occurred when I was 22, regarding extreme outrage, anger, Dutch courage + Prozac induced psychosis, bow and arrows, tactical response etc.... Like it was showing me the future or something. The fact that I am now 33 alive, healthy and clean is a true miracle.
I'm already mad. I feel I've died a thousand times already, I don't have any energy left to worry about death. I haven't tried DMT yet but I plan to soon. Go into the experience with NO expectations and surrender to your awareness, that's my plan
Try a small dose of mushrooms, then do LSD the next time (At least a week or two later) your life winds down and feels collapsed. I believe (not 100% sure) If you get addicted to something like cigarettes, alcohol, cannabis, opiates, ect, I recommend taking Kratom (Green Strength, White Focus, Maeng Da Energy) Don't use Kratom daily. Use for 1 day if your withdrawal is bad. ONE gram. Less is More. Legit. Cannabis was a great place to start enlightening, but addiction can make your life fall apart. This is because cannabis doesn't generally help people hold a functioning mindset, but more of an intro/outrospective one. If you are Unsatisfied with Life, Society, Nature, Self, Others, ANYTHING! I watched tons of TH-cam videos on this subject and had read Ricks book, I've also experiences ayahuasca many times in Peru. If your looking to take DMT like I was then listen to this advice carefully before doing so, I strongly advise you do. I took DMT for the first time in 2018 and lost my identity and spent an immense amount of time which seemed like years out of this reality. Where I went was dark and frightenening. I couldn't escape, I was a prisoner of my mind where I was just a pair of eyes with 360 degree vision. I was able to see how I was fooled by books and social media into the trap where I was laughed at and felt a fool. When I came back around I was close to losing my sanity for real, I was truly messed up. Nothing made sense anymore. I'm a middle aged family guy with a good job and clean slate with the law yet I'd gone too far this time. I experienced what I can't articulate and express. Please please please trust me and don't go where I went under the search for enlightenment. I turned back to ayahuasca which healed me of my experience but I shall never do it again. I was lured by the fantastic tales of worlds and beings and wisdom. I based my decision on statistically mine would be a good experience, What a fucking moron I am. I feel you. When anyone asks me about dmt now I basically tell them that nothing I or anyone else says or does can help you when you're on dmt so my opinion doesn't matter

That's a good question. I guess a depressed person creates a good setting by trying to make themselves feel better with the aid of something, in this case the substance.
Gio00 good observation, in that case it may not be the ‘set and setting’ that you’re in which effects the experience, but the set and setting you’re _expecting_ from the trip. If you’re worried about it, and not prepared for what it might bring and how to cope with it, then that lack of preparation and understanding will show during the trip and you’ll fumble about, resist the experience and end up having a bad experience of it.
Set and settings of the exact time you're taking DMT. Just putting in your head that this substance can help prepares your mind to actually have a positive experience . Don't do it when you're at your worst states and definitely don't do it alone

I think many people miss what this guy is trying to say and the severity of it, if your not well in the mind and soul a psychadelic can and will give you a bad trip and scales with intensity. DMT is a very short, but intense high and is ranked among the top of the list for EXPERIENCED USERS ONLY. You should only really experience said substances when you've finished physically AND mentally growing... which can range from 21 to NEVER, since some people just can't handle such things.
How could you possibly become a “trained professional” for something that effects the psyche of the individual differently and specifically to everyone?
He is a Shaman = trained professional. Secondly there is unquestionably a huge similarity between the "trips" experienced by the majority of people using psychedelic substances. It is the shaman that is trained to guide the individual on their spiritual journey, especially when healing is sought.

"These things can make you mad". I think its more of an awakening to what society is really doing to us, that makes some people frustrated rather than "mad" or "crazy"
Guys, I just tried DMT (the vape pen type) last week, and again a couple days ago.. it’s really not bad, just don’t take massive hits. The colors and and designs you see are fucking incredible and I felt euphoric the entire time. And the best part is it only lasts about 10 minutes and you’re back to normal. No crazy, anxiety-driven come down. But yea don’t over do it though, or you might experience the negatives he’s talking about.
The vape pen is good for beginners, if you want an uncontrollable breakthrough you should try using a rig with a quartz nail, you can vaporize as much as you want in 1 hit and the effects come on so fast and strong, if your crystal is high quality you shouldn’t need more than 35-40 MG to have a breakthrough, the beautiful thing about Deems is the more experienced you are with it the less you require to let go and have a powerful experience, of course the body does have a minimum requirement to be able to reach the tipping point of the threshold… I don’t mean to sound pretentious when I say the pen is great for beginners, but the pen really is good for those small sub threshold dose’s because it’s easy to get comfortable, stop and put down, when you use the rig it’s like bungie jumping, once you’ve taken the jump you can’t come back from it till the gravity of the situation has rebounded you back, I hope that analogy makes sense… Peace and love to anyone who’s reading this
It's the most amazing experience. Absolutely mind blowing! Extreamly intense visuals... Definitely not for the faint of heart. You must be mentally prepared to let your mind go. In my experience I felt an 👽 like presence, but nothing scary. More like they were ancients to guide me through. Felt like my skull was peeled back, and my brain was sling shot into the ethereal. I was only gone for a few minutes, but it seems like forever. The psychedelic patterns were stunning!!! Feels like it takes you on a ride from the beginning of time through the future, and back again. Literally feels like your mind is abducted by aliens... And I LOVED IT 😂

This guy’s legit. I had a bad acid trip, my last time, because of set and setting. I underestimated my experience, and got cocky, combined with the people around me. I won’t go into details but I almost died. So now I’m trying to train myself so I can try to enjoy lsd like I did before. But I’ll be honest it’s really hard after what I went through. I don’t know if or when I’ll ever be able to do it again. I’m trying to be positive about it, learn from it, and prepare myself. I’m committed but I’ll only do it again when I know I’m ready. Fact: I’ve never met someone who did DMT who is any better off than they were before. They are usually more lost and confused and they think they are found.
Lol you are so into this social environment that your measurement of success is completely different then that of people who take these drugs. They don’t care about how rich they are, they have another understanding in life which cannot be explained which enhances them spiritually and mentally but of course people like you don’t understand it and think if you are rich you are good to go.

Completely agree... abuse and misuse is bad no matter what you are doing/taking. And look how humanity has abused other medicines throughout history once it's easily accessible to the general populace. To utilize psychedelics properly there needs to be a reason and intent, or you certainly could get lost and come out worse. Anyone who has ever had even a smidge of a bad experience on psychedelics knows they are not to be toyed around with. They, like all other natural medicine, are here for a purpose. It's not like taking a pharmaceutical opiate or depressant. DMT and Psilocybin IMO should not be used as a recreational "high" or thought of as such. Yes everyone should have access to do with their bodies as they choose, but the side effects of these psychedelics are much more complicated than any other "medicine" and should be treated with respect.

My first trip ever was with DMT. I went all the way. An entire lifetime traveling through dimensions learning from “god”. Then I was at perfect peace in this sphere of light and I was balancing all of existence from within this sphere, I was all there is and was and it was perfect bliss, until...I realized that I was all there was, and then I also realized I didn’t want to be alone. The perfect balance I had as this light started to shift into imperfection and entropy. I started to be pulled in different directions until I exploded into infinite pieces into space, time, and every molecule ever created and I rained down into the universe and reality, I was the universe and reality in fact. Now that I think about it it was like the Big Bang but I was the epicenter. I eventually took the form of water molecules and condensed on earth where I became the ocean. I could feel every wave of my ocean body until My molecules condensed Back into my human body form. I opened my eyes and wasn’t sure if I was back in my room yet because the last time I thought I was back in the room it was actually just a trick during one of my travels through dimensions so that I can realize the love my girlfriend then and now my wife had for me at the time.... anyway I was back in the room laying on the ground expecting to be whisked away once more, it didn’t happen so I was convinced I made it back! So to ground my self I knocked 3 times on the wood floor before I stood up... however when I knocked on the floor someone knocked back 3 times from underneath to confirm I was back lol.... I got up and my life changed from that day on for the better. 10 years later and I’m still not sure if this is all still a trip and if someone will knock again to wake me up but I am glad to be here 😊

Tripping since 1967.Recently began using DMT. It is very very mild by comparison, but holds the same potential. I call DMT my reset drug, as I have found ,for me, it allows me a peaceful, uplifting respite that I need in this upside down society. Bad trips and good trips can't be calculated by thinking its different from person to person. I've had good and bad, and the bad wasn't really all that bad, I braved through it. I've had several experiences on mushrooms + syrian rue mixed (DMT+MAOI) and everytime I would get thoughts of never coming back, or waking up in a mental asylum naked, or i simply thought "this is it, I've done it now, I'm permanently crazy and I'll never experience normal life ever again". Those experiences was all I needed, and I do consider them all "breakthroughs". I don't know if it was those experiences that changed my life, but they did add value. Ironically, I stay away from spiritual groups, and self proclaimed woke people, I feel the disingenuous energy, masking work that needs to be done.... Or maybe its a con altogether to get people to side with them. Idk, either way, I stay away from people that always talk about astrology, and reiki, and namaste, and always emphasize love and positivity. I get that love is great but it's the other emotions that allow love to be appreciated that much more, so embrace those other emotions too lol
I tried to experiment with the set and setting on the the multiple times I've taken it.... it really didn't seem to matter to the ayahuasca. It seemed to do whatever it wanted

You can have whatever intention you like, ayahuasca don't care. That session is going to unfold in ways far beyond your control. I did it at home went to college as a drop out and made a 3.6 gpa and made the deans list first semester built a car raced it and opened a performance shop with a friend and we still open today I am very thankful I was trained to take this before I did it took two yrs to prepare myself to take this

I agree with you. I enjoy being with myself, especially when I'm meditating and I knew when I try Dmt, I have to take it alone. I dont know why but something in my head was telling me to do it alone and so I did and it was amazing. But I also didnt take too much and took set and setting very serious.
Back in the 1970s I was fortunate enough to meet a person who, in the early 1950s, had been one of the test subjects under controlled conditions for LSD experiments done at Columbia University. She'd been a graduate student at Columbia and was in the process of earning a PhD in one of the physical sciences during the tests. Grad students need money so she volunteered. This was a highly intelligent person and a good soul. my first experiece was rather strange. the first hit didnt cause an effect so i doubted the substance. i hit it again hard and right away the dmt hit me. i was sent through a colorful digital portal to some hall in a temple where there were entities standing to the sides like statues watching me. they laughed at me because i had doubted the substance, i told them i understand the power of dmt now. i kept talkin through out the trip and it seemed like they werent fond of it. the more i talked the more they kept their distance. at one point one told me i have a powerful mind but i talk too much. i thought about all the times my mouth got me in trouble so it did make a lot of sense. i had dropped 3 tabs of acid the day before so i believe that had somethin to do with my experience.

I wouldn’t suggest that any human smoke Marijuana (or smoke or vaporize anything for that matter). Smoke is harmful to the lungs and the burning in your lungs and throat are a distraction to seeing and hearing what the Psychedelic is saying, and the pollution itself lets in the darkness that inhibits a human from discerning what the Psychedelic is truly saying. It would be much better for humans to first understand the science about Marijuana before attempting to understand the Spiritual. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is a Psychedelic; there is very little, if any THC found in Marijuana flowers unless the flowers are very old. There are trichomes all over/in the Marijuana flowers which contain THC-A (Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid). The THC-A must first be decarboxylated to convert it to the THC; there are 3 ways to accomplish this:
1- Heat
2- Light
3- Time
Most humans opt for the intense heat of burning the Marijuana flowers in order to convert the THC-A into THC, although it seems most humans have no idea this is what is taking place. One of my friends had done DMT five times. He was all about it. Said it made him so happy. Two years ago he did it for the sixth time. I remember him calling me screaming for help. He kept saying “I’m stuck in the machine! I can’t get out! It’s like pure gravity compressing my soul and I can’t escape it and I’ve been here for an eternity!!”... this was two days after his bad trip. He was still messed up and it wasn’t going away. He went to the hospital and they couldn’t do anything. On the night of the third day after his trip, he blew his head off with his dads .308 hunting rifle. Left a note saying that he’s sorry that he ruined his brain but he had to end the nightmare. Pretty scary stuff. So that being said, be very careful with this stuff. I’ll never forget him screaming “I’m stuck in the machine!” At the top of his lungs with pure terror in his voice. I truly believe he died one of the worst deaths imaginable. Psychologically anyhow. I mean the days leading up to him ending it must have been really bad. He was never the kind of person who had depression or even anxiety.. His bad trip absolutely killed him. I don’t think DMT is necessarily dangerous, but I think the gates that it opens up can be. I feel like maybe he went too far in. I don’t know. It has haunted me ever since.
I had an experience last time I used dmt where I was convinced that I'd fried my brain permanently & I can tell you that had it not subsided I would have gladly ended my life to escape it. I thought after about 100 experiences I was familiar with it but I learned that wasn't true at all, I'll never use it or recommend it again. Some doors are better left unopened

I’ve only done DMT once. But I’d had x2 decent LSD tabs first. Lol. I can’t say I enjoyed the experience. The 5ish minutes that I actually let go and embraced it were sensational. I’m not sure that I fully broke through though. I saw heaps of patterns, colours and symbols(smily faces, pyramids, clocks with 1000s of fractions, all sorts of weird shit). That part was fine.
But after that I spent at least 2 hours thinking I was in some sort of purgatory. I actually thought I was dead and had been for a long time but had only just realised it. It was actually quite scary. I didn’t think I was going to see my wife and kids again. It was such a relief when I started coming out of it.
But it made me realise I wasn’t happy with with how I was living and if I had died I was very disappointed with the life I had led.

When i came out of it I had such a profound sense of love and appreciation for life and all it contained. It was the worst trip Ive ever had and simultaneously the best trip I've ever had.

The experience is powerful and can be terrifying, but he is talking about the super high dose range. I think i heard him say he was given 80 mg. That is a giant dose. You can have a true breakthrough at 30-40 mg. Anything over 50 mg is really overwhelming. I dont know how people can do 70-90 mg doses, its just an overload to the brain.

Basically, to guarantee you have a good trip, you have to 'let go' in a Hindu/Buddhist kind of way, meaning stop clinging to things, to everything in fact. To be of this mindset, of course, you and your life have to be 'in harmony with the universe': you have to be a mature and wise (in the Hindu/Buddhist sense) person, basically. You have to be leading a 'good', happy life, without stress or anxiety and you have to be content with the direction your life is heading. You have to know that you are part of the universe and all that that implies. Obviously, such philosophical concepts and attitudes are rare in people and take time to foster, but it is only with such an attitude that a good trip can be guaranteed. To put it in extreme terms, you have to be ready to die, to lose your 'identity' (ego death), not worry about losing who 'you' (the person you perceive yourself to be) are. For example, if you are an athletic married black Christian middle-class bank manager feminist mother of three you have to forget all of these things and be more like an animal that doesn't acknowledge such attributes of physicality, status, occupation, race, responsibility or ideology- all of this dissolves during the trip and you will be terrified and traumatized if you cling to them because you can see and feel these attributes melting away- you will be terrified that you are actually, literally dying (the trip seems 'real' in that sense) or disappearing, and your panic will exacerbate the badness of the experience (your feelings steer the DMT trip and take on their own physical and emotional form). The trip shows you primordial existence, devoid of so many of the attributes that modern life has imparted to us. You have to be like an animal in the wild that does not know it exists, that does not contemplate notions of existence, and lives in harmony with nature, with its natural surroundings. You have to be ready to surrender yourself and transform, like a caterpillar, into a different person, into a different thing, and not be afraid of losing your identity or even your body (you can and will have an out-of-body experience). Obviously, when you return to the 'real' world after the trip you will still be 'Joe Bloggs' and still have the same body, but it is the readiness to surrender your mind and body that determines the quality and 'efficacy' of the DMT trip. You have to be ready to die, happy to die, indifferent about dying, knowing that the universe (you) can never die. With such an attitude, you can and will discover a new you and a new world (it's actually the old you and the old world before modern humankind separated itself from nature). You will realize you are part of the universe, that you are the universe, that you are literally everything, that you are 'god'. You can still have a good trip if you are living a hectic life or taking it in hectic conditions, as long as you can still yourself and take yourself to a 'good place' before you inhale, but taking DMT like that runs the risk of it going south if you start worrying, hesitating or thinking about the issues in your life.

DMT is so strong it can put it you in a state of bliss instantly and so hyperaware of the experience itself, its so rapid and disorientating its hard to think about your day or your boss being a dick in many cases impossible. So true. First time I tried it (smoked/I think the flame was far enough away to vaporize) I was outside with a couple buddies, comfortable, prepared, and my excitement was > my anxiety. I had a great breakthrough that left my brain feeling like it was freshly "refurbished" and so happy I almost felt like I was rolling without the high.
However... the second time (fat dab) was with friends in my living room. It was different though, there was some pressure to do it (from myself) because I wanted an experience like before, and the set was weird as my friend with the stuff basically came over just to blast me and a couple friends off and then peace (he had to make some plays). The anxiety in me just increased while he heated up the nail and was still very high right when it was dabbed and while I exhaled. The visuals were dark and chaotic, my body was super tense and I did everything I could to remain "conscious" and not to dive into the wormhole, and I surprisingly didnt [break though]. It was like being in front of a black hole and trying really hard not to get sucked in. Constantly feeling my physical body to stay in this reality, staring at objects very strongly (amidst the dark visual vortex in front of me) to assure they were real and actually there. And then after that 7ish minutes of this reality struggle it all came to a halt. So weird walking on the edge of that boundary. Any thoughts/similar experiences? (props for reading all this lol)
+Miles Duhamel I can agree with what this guys says about set and setting and it is very true for any powerful psychedelic IMO. I mentally and physically prepared myself for a week before doing DMT and only did it in a quiet environment with someone I trusted very much. We set a few rules out and just casually did it taking turns without letting any sort of anxiety in.
I dont want to get into the details because 1. its VERY hard to describe the experience properly and 2. it would take an hour typing it all out. Regardless, it was a life changing moment for me and an extremely positive one at that....quite possibly the pinnacle of what I will ever experience in my life. People do need to understand that this is a tool and not some sort of party drug or anything of that sort.

fast forward a year later and I found myself alone one night and thought about taking dmt again.
I wasn't prepared. I felt anxious on my own but thought I would still try it.
I took 3 deep inhales and thought to myself straight away "oh shit what have I done !"
like you I didn't look into the wormhole. I found myself just looking at the edge and all its magical shapes and colours trying to lure me into the hole.
but I fought not to go in. I thought if I just focus on the edge and wait maybe the entities will realise I'm not ready yet and slow everything down to normality.
luckily I came out of it.
and for the record it hasn't put me off trying it again. It made me realise that mood and setting are everything.
I will try it again and next time I will be prepared.

Yes I had that experience once, I accidentally put way more than I intended in my vap pipe & that combined with the residue of a lot of gms i'd put through that pipe & sent me far further than I intended to go at the time. I learnt to really watch what I put in the pipe as it's so strong it's really important not to just go scrape into the pipe without being accurate with measurement as I wasn't looking for the wormhole at that time. However I've never had any other problem with far more DMT when I wanted to go down the wormhole. The one thing that always gets you out of trouble is to say to yourself something like "Just go with it" & through the hole you go no worries lol

Good advice, there are many DMT Acacia trees growing where I live, as well as Psilocybe/Copelandia mushrooms in Summer. I remember years ago when I was 17 or something, I was drunk and had a high dose of a native potent Psilocybe eucalypta. I had a mental vision of me going mad in the street outside my old house where I grew up and taking on the local Police in a street battle. The scary thing was that, that actually occurred when I was 22, regarding extreme outrage, anger, Dutch courage + Prozac induced psychosis, bow and arrows, tactical response etc.... Like it was showing me the future or something. The fact that I am now 33 alive, healthy and clean is a true miracle.
I'm already mad. I feel I've died a thousand times already, I don't have any energy left to worry about death. I haven't tried DMT yet but I plan to soon. Go into the experience with NO expectations and surrender to your awareness, that's my plan

Try a small dose of mushrooms, then do LSD the next time (At least a week or two later) your life winds down and feels collapsed. I watched tons of TH-cam videos on this subject and had read Ricks book, I've also experiences ayahuasca many times in Peru.
If your looking to take DMT like I was then listen to this advice carefully before doing so, I strongly advise you do.
I took DMT for the first time in 2018 and lost my identity and spent an immense amount of time which seemed like years out of this reality. Where I went was dark and frightenening. I couldn't escape, I was a prisoner of my mind where I was just a pair of eyes with 360 degree vision. I was able to see how I was fooled by books and social media into the trap where I was laughed at and felt a fool. When I came back around I was close to losing my sanity for real, I was truly messed up. Nothing made sense anymore. I'm a middle aged family guy with a good job and clean slate with the law yet I'd gone too far this time.
I experienced what I can't articulate and express. Please please please trust me and don't go where I went under the search for enlightenment. I turned back to ayahuasca which healed me of my experience but I shall never do it again. I was lured by the fantastic tales of worlds and beings and wisdom. I based my decision on statistically mine would be a good experience, What a fucking moron I am.

That's a good question. I guess a depressed person creates a good setting by trying to make themselves feel better with the aid of something, in this case the substance.
Gio00 good observation, in that case it may not be the ‘set and setting’ that you’re in which effects the experience, but the set and setting you’re _expecting_ from the trip. If you’re worried about it, and not prepared for what it might bring and how to cope with it, then that lack of preparation and understanding will show during the trip and you’ll fumble about, resist the experience and end up having a bad experience of it.
Set and settings of the exact time you're taking DMT. Just putting in your head that this substance can help prepares your mind to actually have a positive experience .

4- A person shall not lie.
There is no such thing as a small lie - any deception makes it harder to be with the Psychedelic. A person who wants to stay with the Psychedelic does not lie. A person who continues to deliberately lie cannot stay with the Psychedelic both in this lifetime and after.
5- A person shall not defile God’s Temple.
A persons body is God’s Temple; ingesting anything known as being poison to God’s Temple(your body) is Condemned by the Psychedelic. The following are some of the most common Known poisons people are defiling God’s Temple with regularly: nicotine,caffeine, amphetamines,sugar, alcohol, tranquilizers, flouride, dissociatives, etc. A person who poisons their body(God’s Temple) with these substances not only makes it difficult to see God & hear what God the Psychedelic is saying to them, a person who does this will not be able to stay with Yahweh the Psychedelic both in this lifetime & after.
6- A person shall not accept anger/dishonesty/greed/evil etc. inside of themselves.
Anger, dishonesty, greed, & other evil darkness is your enemy, they are no friend to you at all. These feelings prevent a person from being able to be close to the Psychedelic, and makes it difficult to see and hear what the Psychedelic is saying to you. A person who is feeling any of these feelings should pray to the Psychedelic to help them stop feeling these dead feelings. Dead feelings do physical harm to the body, thus defiling God’s Temple. A person who chooses any dead feelings as their companion will not be able to stay with the Psychedelic, both in this lifetime and after.
7- A person shall not act upon an evil thought.
If you are angered by someone do not seek revenge, but rather, pray to the Psychedelic for the strength to forgive the person who trespassed against you. Acting upon your evil thoughts is one of the ways that you will let the darkness build up inside of you, which prevents you from being able to be with the Light-Yahweh-God-the Psychedelic. Live your lives wherever you are abiding by the Laws of the Psychedelic, and you will be led closer to the place of rest that God has for us.
8- A person shall place no false god or earthly ruler above the Psychedelic.

DMT and 5-MeO-DMT are the molecular structures of a human’s Consciousness. They are the molecules that comprise our Consciousness. I think many people miss what this guy is trying to say and the severity of it, if your not well in the mind and soul a psychadelic can and will give you a bad trip and scales with intensity. DMT is a very short, but intense high and is ranked among the top of the list for EXPERIENCED USERS ONLY. You should only really experience said substances when you've finished physically AND mentally growing... which can range from 21 to NEVER, since some people just can't handle such things.
So true. If someone cant sit still, or meditate alone. They should not take DMT. More training is required. It magnifies your internal subconscious.
These are wise words and is not the cautionary conversation I hear coming from young drug users. Physical and mental fitness is important.

He is a Shaman = trained professional. Secondly there is unquestionably a huge similarity between the "trips" experienced by the majority of people using psychedelic substances. It is the shaman that is trained to guide the individual on their spiritual journey, especially when healing is sought.

Guys, I just tried DMT (the vape pen type) last week, and again a couple days ago.. it’s really not bad, just don’t take massive hits. The colors and and designs you see are fucking incredible and I felt euphoric the entire time. And the best part is it only lasts about 10 minutes and you’re back to normal. No crazy, anxiety-driven come down. But yea don’t over do it though, or you might experience the negatives he’s talking about.

The vape pen is good for beginners, if you want an uncontrollable breakthrough you should try using a rig with a quartz nail, you can vaporize as much as you want in 1 hit and the effects come on so fast and strong, if your crystal is high quality you shouldn’t need more than 35-40 MG to have a breakthrough, the beautiful thing about Deems is the more experienced you are with it the less you require to let go and have a powerful experience, of course the body does have a minimum requirement to be able to reach the tipping point of the threshold… I don’t mean to sound pretentious when I say the pen is great for beginners, but the pen really is good for those small sub threshold dose’s because it’s easy to get comfortable, stop and put down, when you use the rig it’s like bungie jumping, once you’ve taken the jump you can’t come back from it till the gravity of the situation has rebounded you back, I hope that analogy makes sense… Peace and love to anyone who’s reading this
It's the most amazing experience. Absolutely mind blowing! Extreamly intense visuals... Definitely not for the faint of heart. You must be mentally prepared to let your mind go. In my experience I felt an 👽 like presence, but nothing scary. More like they were ancients to guide me through. Felt like my skull was peeled back, and my brain was sling shot into the ethereal. I was only gone for a few minutes, but it seems like forever. The psychedelic patterns were stunning!!! Feels like it takes you on a ride from the beginning of time through the future, and back again. Literally feels like your mind is abducted by aliens... And I LOVED IT 😂

Completely agree... abuse and misuse is bad no matter what you are doing/taking. And look how humanity has abused other medicines throughout history once it's easily accessible to the general populace. To utilize psychedelics properly there needs to be a reason and intent, or you certainly could get lost and come out worse. Anyone who has ever had even a smidge of a bad experience on psychedelics knows they are not to be toyed around with. They, like all other natural medicine, are here for a purpose. It's not like taking a pharmaceutical opiate or depressant. DMT and Psilocybin IMO should not be used as a recreational "high" or thought of as such. Yes everyone should have access to do with their bodies as they choose, but the side effects of these psychedelics are much more complicated than any other "medicine" and should be treated with respect.

My first trip ever was with DMT.
I went all the way. An entire lifetime traveling through dimensions learning from “god”. Then I was at perfect peace in this sphere of light and I was balancing all of existence from within this sphere, I was all there is and was and it was perfect bliss, until...I realized that I was all there was, and then I also realized I didn’t want to be alone. The perfect balance I had as this light started to shift into imperfection and entropy. I started to be pulled in different directions until I exploded into infinite pieces into space, time, and every molecule ever created and I rained down into the universe and reality, I was the universe and reality in fact. Now that I think about it it was like the Big Bang but I was the epicenter. I eventually took the form of water molecules and condensed on earth where I became the ocean. I could feel every wave of my ocean body until My molecules condensed Back into my human body form. I opened my eyes and wasn’t sure if I was back in my room yet because the last time I thought I was back in the room it was actually just a trick during one of my travels through dimensions so that I can realize the love my girlfriend then and now my wife had for me at the time.... anyway I was back in the room laying on the ground expecting to be whisked away once more, it didn’t happen so I was convinced I made it back! So to ground my self I knocked 3 times on the wood floor before I stood up... however when I knocked on the floor someone knocked back 3 times from underneath to confirm I was back lol.... I got up and my life changed from that day on for the better. 10 years later and I’m still not sure if this is all still a trip and if someone will knock again to wake me up but I am glad to be here 😊

I’ve had a few DMT trips & yes its always been a profound experience. But it’s a mind over matter thing each time I’ve taken it.
Tripping since 1967.Recently began using DMT. It is very very mild by comparison, but holds the same potential. Bad trips and good trips can't be calculated by thinking its different from person to person. I've had good and bad, and the bad wasn't really all that bad, I braved through it. I've had several experiences on mushrooms + syrian rue mixed (DMT+MAOI) and everytime I would get thoughts of never coming back, or waking up in a mental asylum naked, or i simply thought "this is it, I've done it now, I'm permanently crazy and I'll never experience normal life ever again". Those experiences was all I needed, and I do consider them all "breakthroughs". I don't know if it was those experiences that changed my life, but they did add value. Ironically, I stay away from spiritual groups, and self proclaimed woke people, I feel the disingenuous energy, masking work that needs to be done.... Or maybe its a con altogether to get people to side with them. Idk, either way, I stay away from people that always talk about astrology, and reiki, and namaste, and always emphasize love and positivity. I get that love is great but it's the other emotions that allow love to be appreciated that much more, so embrace those other emotions too lol

Yeah, I always laughed and kinda shook my head when people would suggest they had an "intention" when going into a ceremony. Ha! You can have whatever intention you like, ayahuasca don't care. That session is going to unfold in ways far beyond your control. I found all that stuff went out the window when the medicine really kicked in. I agree with you. I enjoy being with myself, especially when I'm meditating and I knew when I try Dmt, I have to take it alone. I dont know why but something in my head was telling me to do it alone and so I did and it was amazing. But I also didnt take too much and took set and setting very serious.

my first experiece was rather strange. the first hit didnt cause an effect so i doubted the substance. i hit it again hard and right away the dmt hit me. i was sent through a colorful digital portal to some hall in a temple where there were entities standing to the sides like statues watching me. they laughed at me because i had doubted the substance, i told them i understand the power of dmt now. i kept talkin through out the trip and it seemed like they werent fond of it. the more i talked the more they kept their distance. at one point one told me i have a powerful mind but i talk too much. i thought about all the times my mouth got me in trouble so it did make a lot of sense. i had dropped 3 tabs of acid the day before so i believe that had somethin to do with my experience.
