Boil it down till its all runny , wait till oils really cool before it starts to set and thicken up , then add and pour over Raw bones cheers Triple J for your tips too. I feed value Pac now. I found it might look cheap, but trust me that is good feed. Black bag or Red bag. I like it better than 4 health and its 10 lbs more feed and 10$ less. I feed a cup or two in A.M. and a scoop in evening. I dont messure, i just give them what I think will fill them up. I dont like it when my dogs are hungry, they Raise hell at each other, and get real aggressive to everything. I feed all they want and just let them work it off.
Triple j I had two dogs over the time when I was breeding one was full grown and one was a year I did everything for there kennels I even tried to give the blankets everything even Bought and made new houses for some reason in the winter they slept outside there house and froze to death I moved there kennels houses. Bloodlines? Whatever trait you are looking for depends as much on the individual dog as anything else. My neighbor has the PhD in veterinary medicine from the university of Tennessee and her specialty is canine genetics and says at this point there is enough outcross between “bloodlines” that it’s a crap shoot on whether a cottingham or (you pick the bloodline) has whatever it is you are looking for. You can take a Jeep and Honeybunch breeding and get 2 excellent dogs, 2 social butterflies, and the other 6 are something in between. A lot of it is environment. If you start early hunting hogs, or socialization with other dogs to make stable tempered dogs, or whatever it is you are looking for it is up to YOU to bring out the best in that dog. There are seemingly cur dogs that when pushed hard enough can be as game as any. I’ve seen pure Eli dogs (from Garner for example) that were perfectly stable around other dogs. It really depends on the dog.

Id say 20% cold is about right for alot of breeders. I'll take those percentages, as long as I don't get a lot of tricksters, I'd rather have just a cold dog, then a cur any day , a cur will trick you, you'll think it's a good dog and he'll stop when you got your hands full. I don't like to being holding 200 lb of hog and that mother f***** decide he don't want to play no more... And honestly three of the better producing dogs I've seen in my life where cold ,well one was not but she took 4 yrs to decide she was not cold, lol . I know that sounds crazy but it's true. The first real good producing cold bitch I seen was a dog named Tina Louise. She was off of STP Toro stuff and young Dutch boy. The next one was a male they called Ricky Suave. And those dogs produced as good as anything I've ever seen and much better than most!

Such a nice story. Wonder with all the pups and dogs being euthanized in shelter am still confused about backyard breeders. It's just a chance that new owners will keep them forever. Shelters are full of so many dogs/puppies/cats/kittens for euthanasia. Do you follow through with their new owners? Animal breeding ironically is not a big moneymaker. You seem to do a good job with care, but ultimately their conditions are because of long term stay. How much socialization? Use dukes its cheap and fast Lard and vegetable oils have to be a higher temperature for the dog to use the energy think of what temperature that oil melts, that's why coconut oil work so well mayonnaise is a watery bass egg and fat ,lard is heavy and greasy won't melt inside the dog , he won't be able to use the energy ,he would just have s*** Clumps of lard out. If you're going to use a real oil base make sure it's something that will melt inside the dog's body temperature. Coconut oil works good and it's fairly cheap. But if the fast energy source They Don't Really store fat with it. Mayonnaise gives them enough fat to store.

And honestly three of the better producing dogs I've seen in my life where cold ,well one was not but she took 4 yrs to decide she was not cold, lol . I know that sounds crazy but it's true.
The first real good producing cold bitch I seen was a dog named Tina Louise. She was off of STP Toro stuff and young Dutch boy.
The next one was a male they called Ricky Suave. He was a double bred Grand Champion Rodney dog. And one of our old bitches Velvet which she actually was not cold but we thought she was for a long time.
And those dogs produced as good as anything I've ever seen and much better than most!

It's just a chance that new owners will keep them forever.
Shelters are full of so many dogs/puppies/cats/kittens for euthanasia.

My dogs dont go to the pound. If my pups dont work out they bring them back...and I replace them.

Id go to every horse barn with Thoroughbred ponies and slaughter them for doog food and use them stalls for winter kennels

Lard and vegetable oils have to be a higher temperature for the dog to use the energy think of what temperature that oil melts, that's why coconut oil work so well mayonnaise is a watery bass egg and fat ,lard is heavy and greasy won't melt inside the dog , he won't be able to use the energy ,he would just have s*** Clumps of lard out.
If you're going to use a real oil base make sure it's something that will melt inside the dog's body temperature. Coconut oil works good and it's fairly cheap. But if the fast energy source They Don't Really store fat with it. Mayonnaise gives them enough fat to store.
